Who:Micro Scooters

What:Mini Micro 4in1 Mini 2 Grow Scooter

Why:

Gosh! What a fab scooter! This multi-adaptable ride-on, trike, toddler scooter and grown-up scooter in one really impressed our judges. Designed to adapt to suit each stage of your child’s development from age 1 to 6, parents can invest in one product, safe in the knowledge that it will last for years before it’s passed down.

The panel felt that this super innovative design paired with a high-quality build and attention to comfort and safety deserved nothing less than a gold award.

How brilliant. The shed will no longer be full of multiple scooters! This multi-stage scooter, is a game-changer for anyone lacking in space and wanting to reduce their footprint on the planet. Bravo.

Bonita Turner, Editor of Junior

This scooter felt really robust and I loved the ride-on trike incarnation, which felt really secure and fun for little ones.

Who:Plum Play

What:Globber Junior Foldable Lights Eco Scooter

Why:

Billed as a sustainable scooter for a greener world, the Globber is made with 60% Global Recycled Standard plastic and biodegradable wheat-straw, which has far less environmental impact than ordinary plastic.

Our judges felt this was a great option for families looking for more eco-friendly choices and thought this was a smart scooter with plenty of exciting features, not least the fact that the wheels light up! The patented folding system was another popular design element, making it highly portable and easy to store.

Such a great scooter incorporating so many design innovations that make it greener, safer, easy to store and most importantly, fun to ride on.

Bonita Turner, Editor of Junior

Great to see that Plum Play are exploring more eco-friendly materials and the light up wheels are a detail that I know kids will love.

Who:smarTrike

What:Xtend Ride On Scooter

Why:

The Xtend is the only scooter in the world with an extendable footboard, adding years to its life and making this a multi-functional ride-on toy that grows with your child.

Our judges were super impressed with the long lifespan of this product which lasts from age 1 to 12, starting off as a push along trike steered by a grown-up and ending up as a cool-looking and very nippy scooter.

Such a great option for anyone who wants to invest in an exciting ride-on that gives little kids a sense of adventure that then morphs into a cool scooter whenever your child is ready for more independence

Bonita Tuner, Editor of Junior

There is so much to love about this multi-tasking toy that truly grows with your child. The fold down option is fantastic for those tight on storage.

Who:Mookie

What:The Scuttle Bug

Why:

This super cute little bug was a big success with our mini judges who were all drawn to this easy-to-sit-on, brightly coloured foot-to-floor ride-on in an eye-catching ladybird print.

The satisfying ease of movement across the floor was noted and the simple 3-step folding system that allows the Scuttle Bug to be folded and unfolded in seconds was also seen as a big plus for parents low on space or who want to pop this toy in the car boot for a day out.

A really clever, simple design that has a brilliant space-saving element - because no parent in the world has enough toy storage space!

Bonita Turner, Editor of Junior

My kids love the cartoon 'Miraculous', so I was instantly drawn to the ladybird design! Cute and so much fun for whizzing about on!
