When we heard that luxury fashion house Stella McCartney was partnering with iconic stroller brand Bugaboo to launch a limited-edition capsule collection, we knew it would be something incredibly special.
From the chic caramel colour paired with subtle bronze hardware, to the stunning diamond-cut chain edging inspired by Stella’s signature Falabella bag, named after her childhood horse, (you will see lots of horses in this campaign) this is the perfect meeting of design minds.
Apart from elevated design, the key common ground shared by Bugaboo and Stella McCartney is their commitment to creating a more sustainable consumer path. Eco-conscious customers will be delighted to hear that all the fabrics used across this collection are crafted from recycled polyester made from plastic bottles and coloured using water-free dye technology, reducing reliance on virgin resources and minimising waste, while the hardware incorporates a blend of bio-based materials and recycled aluminium.
Many of Bugaboo’s strollers already use recycled materials in their construction and this collaboration is a great way to spotlight the brand’s commitment to more sustainable production across their entire range. As always, everything has been built for longevity and passing down.
“As a mother, I want the things I design to reflect the world I want to build. Working with Bugaboo makes sense, as it’s a brand that shares our commitment to innovation and responsibility. This collection is for every mum who wants to bring her own individuality and playfulness into parenthood.”
Excitingly the Bugaboo x Stella McCartney collection will include all of the following limited-edition items:
- Bugaboo Fox 5 Renew – The ultimate go-anywhere, consciously crafted stroller.
-
Dragonfly Plus – The city stroller where comfort meets compact.
-
Butterfly 2 Stroller – An ultra-compact travel stroller.
-
A Co-Ordinating Accessories range – Including a footmuff, tote bag, adult and toddler mittens. Making their debut in the Bugaboo range, the new mittens come as a matching set for both adults and toddlers, styled in the brand’s signature Stella McCartney monogram.
>> Pricing will range from £120 for accessories to £1,850 for the Bugaboo Fox 5 Renew pushchair.
Details to look out for:
Riffs on Stella’s Falabella bag, including the diamond-cut chain, inspired by a horse bit, woven into the canopy, alongside vintage gold medallions and the Stella McCartney logo, really make this collection feel super luxe and special. The collection includes three strollers and coordinating accessories in a Tobacco Brown colourway, finished with Saddle Brown accents in vegan leather alternatives.
The campaign, stars model, entrepreneur, and first-time mother, Poppy Delevingne, who makes the perfect muse for the two brands, capturing a warm and laid-back vision of motherhood. Ironically, we’re not sure there will be anything laid-back about the parents trying to get their hands on this collection when it becomes available to buy on September 15th – if you haven’t registered your interest on the Bugaboo website yet, we suggest you do that now. With previous Bugaboo collaborations selling out in record time, anyone who has their heart set on one of these stunning biscotti hued buggies will need to saddle up and grip those reins!
>> The Bugaboo x Stella McCartney collection will be available globally from 15 September 2026 at bugaboo.com as well as selected retailers worldwide.
“Motherhood has completely changed the way I see the world. You suddenly realise how important it is to surround your children with things that are made with care and full of joy.
