Who:Belle Enfant Beauté
What:A skincare collection for babies.
Why:
This beautiful collection of skincare and bathtime products really hit the spot with our judges who loved the powdery scents, creamy formulation and classic packaging that would be an asset to any bathroom shelf.
The quilted wash bag scattered with delicate flowers was much coveted and there was a permanent cloud of the brand’s gentle orange blossom cologne hovering over the Belle Enfant Beauté display as judge after judge returned for just one more spritz.
I was so surprised when I learned that this was a UK made product range. Along with its name, it has all the hallmarks of a French pharmacy brand with beautiful packaging and a subtle yet addictive scent.
A truly beautiful collection that ticks all my boxes for premium baby products - free from parabens, sulphates, silicones and artificial colourants, vegan, cruelty-free and smells incredible
The scent is just delightful! My children are currently using the bath foam and it smells like heaven. It's soft, gentle and looks beautiful on the bathroom shelf. A friend messaged to tell me she now uses the eau de toilette as her perfume and I may have to do the same..
All the judges left smelling of the eau de toilette! It was a huge hit with its delicate orange blossom and soft musky notes - the perfect introduction to fragrance for little ones. The Bath Foam conjures up the silkiest, most cloud-like bubbles. And the slouchy, oversized Quilted Toiletry Bag caught my eye - stylish and practical
Beautifully designed, peaceful and pleasing. just looking at the product makes me feel relaxed.
So chic! A delicate scent that smells fresh and comforting.
Who:Little B by Bramley
What:Bramley's Playful Bath & Body Collection
Why:
There was a lot of oohing and cooing over this collection that melds adorable packaging featuring hand-drawn illustrations with wonderfully fresh-smelling, plant-infused formulations made from all-natural ethically, sourced ingredients.
With a broad range of products that cater for bath, bed and play, our judges were particularly impressed with the incredibly useful vapour balm for blocked noses and magic balm for cuts and scrapes. A truly thoughtful range that keeps the environment and family wellbeing at its heart.
A well-thought-out, high quality product range that really understands families and their needs. A fave in our house.
Not many brands can hold a candle to Little B when it comes to sustainability. Responsibly sourced ingredients, the most streamlined processes, and refillable and recyclable packaging. The gift packaging is imaginative without being wasteful. The Conditioner smells glorious and makes light work of tangles. The Vapour Balm is a repeat purchase of mine to relieve sniffles. And the cute, colour-dipped toothbrushes make great gifts.
These are the products that brighten up your day whenever you use them. I always find the smells so uplifting and everything in the collection feels very nurturing.
Such a lovely collection! The illustrations are just beautiful.
Beautifully illustrated and calming. very appealing for both mummy and child.
Who:Bamford Baby
What:An organic bath and body collection for baby
Why:
The level of entries in this category was incredibly strong this year and newcomer Bamford Baby caused a huge stir. The judges loved the sleek yet friendly-looking packaging in a range of glass and recycled plastic containers, the broad and useful range of products available and above all the wonderful smelling organic formulations made with great care for the environment.
The generous hair and body wash and the soothing Mother and Baby Balm received excellent feedback, while the Calendula Treatment Oil for mothers, formulated to minimise stretch marks was commented on for its silky texture and wonderful scent.
The most bouji baby brand! The packaging is perfectly pitched to appeal to child and parent alike. The blends are nourishing, mostly botanical and free from everything you would expect. And the Chamomile Hair And Body Wash carries such a clean, comforting fragrance. I would sooner sneak a few pumps of this than my own shower gel!
This collection looked and smelled amazing on judging day. I may have to purchase!
As with everything Bamford does, the design is beautiful and the scents divine. Really beautifully thought out.
Simple, elegant design in a lovely neutral colour. Includes everything you could need in the range - so no faff! The chamomile body powder is particularly innovative, reinventing baby powder for a more modern consumer.
Beautiful colour palette and design.
Who:Mini U
What:Bath And Hair Products for children
Why:
Our judges all agreed that this product range puts kids and fun first, with its creative products served up in exciting packaging with highly amusing names (Fizzy Plops!). Anyone who wants to lure their children into the tub will love this collection which takes a Willy Wonka approach to bathtime with rainbow bright formulations, fizzy bath bombs and crayons to turn that bathroom into an artist’s canvas.
With its reasonable prices and ingredients that are vegan, cruelty-free and free from gluten, soy and dairy, the panel also thought these products would make excellent gifts.
A brand that puts the fun into bathtime, bigtime.
If any brand deserves a ring-side seat at bathtime, it’s Mini U. Bath Crayons, Bath Bombs and Fizzy Plops will turn the tub into a sensory playground. The products are incredible value for money and tick all the free-from boxes. Special shoutout to the Honey Cream Shampoo, which lathers up nicely and smells delicious.
Very affordable for everyday use!
A fun brand that will be a hit with the kids. I love the rainbow bath bombs!
Who:Brush-Baby
What:Oral care products for 3-10 year olds
Why:
This range of rechargeable electric toothbrushes and fruity toothpastes really impressed our judges who felt the blend of kid-friendly tastes, super fun characters and high-spec tech was the perfect way to encourage little ones to brush.
The super cute WildOnes collection of electric/rechargeable toothbrushes for 0-10 years designed with low noise, easy grip texture and a small scale light-up head were particularly well received.
If you’re dealing with a battle of the brush, these toothbrushes and toothpastes will get children interested in looking after their own teeth and add some fun to mornings and evenings in the bathroom.
I used the BabySonic Electric Toothbrush with both my girls. It lights up inside your little one’s mouth so you can see all their teeth as you brush. They loved having such a ‘grown-up’ device too.
My son loves his elephant toothbrush which is great for making sure he really brushes well and for long enough. I love the easy-to-use USB charger that we keep in the original toothbrush box along with the spare heads that also come included.
