WHY: Judges were impressed with the seats lifespan - it's suitable from birth to 7 years and that this style of seat has a distinctive installation with a car seat belt, so is not dependent on ISOfix. They also commented on it being rear-facing forever, with its unbeatable leg space of up to 26cm (maximum 36kg weight limit), 5 recline positions, and 10-step adjustable headrest (wow think us adults need one for ourselves!). It's also worth noting in addition, BeSafe have simplified the changing of parts, so that the seat can be repaired if needed or given a refresh. This enables this Stretch B to keep many children safe throughout its usage time all while keeping your child rear facing until approx. 7 years, which is 5 x safer.
While some people will look for an isofix seat for an easy installation, having seatbelt-only installation does make this a versatile option, (especially if you are using it in an older car that doesn’t have isofix points). It picks up points for offering a clever, extended rear facing option with generous legroom (a common concern for parents considering ERF), and has passed the Swedish Plus test.
