Maternity wear that really lasts...

Maternity wear used to be code for make-do with clothes that you would never actually choose to wear. Poor quality, baggy sacks or stretch jersey separates with dubious patterns were the norm…These days things have definitely perked up. A LOT. But while we’ve seen plenty of great going out dresses, vintage inspired styles and funky, statement styles we haven’t seen many simple cool, every day, wearable basics that you would definitely want to continue wearing way after your pregnancy.

Enter Beyond Nine, who as the name suggests, specialise in creating clothes that you’ll want to carry on wearing way after pregnancy and breast feeding has ended. This brand really does fill that gap in the market for cool, good quality and wearable pieces that you can layer up, dress up and dress down. We love the broad range of jumpsuit options that have a fresh contemporary feel and are all breast feeding friendly. We’ve definitely got our eye on the flattering Coverall jumpsuit that has just the right slouch and features gorgeous supersize patch pockets for a chic utility vibe.

In my first pregnancy I found that I had to compromise on style just because I was pregnant. You shouldn't have to spend money on clothes that'll only last you nine months!

All styles are designed with comfort and breastfeeding in mind. Whether it be with a simple to undo tie on the shoulder or a low cut side for easy feeding access on the jumpsuits, or waistbands designed to grow and retract with your bump – these really are clothes that last the distance.

As well as jumpsuits, there are plenty of other pieces that tick the box when it comes to busy mums-to-be who don’t want to invest in nine month wonders that don’t really fit their aesthetic.

The new Cece dress in a fresh plaid and flattering midi length is another Junior favourite and there are also some super cosy track style co-ord separates hitting the store soon.
