"Poppy immediately loved the idea of yellow dungarees, and we chose this shade – a delicate lemon yellow in a soft breathable linen, as she felt it exuded warmth and joy."
Poppy Delevingne x Clary & Peg Wren Skirt, £165
“The Wren skirt in Coral is made of limited-edition deadstock fabric and as soon as we saw it, we could envisage the skirt that we wanted. The prettiest colour, it has a flattering drape and beautiful feel. A vintage-inspired weave harked back to the 1940s. Once it’s gone, it’s gone! “
Poppy Delevingne X Clary & Peg Eva Dress, £195
“We felt that the Eva dress made of a delicate blue floral print captures a 70s nostalgia and a sense of quiet romance. Whether styled with a denim jacket, worn barefoot on holiday, or paired with a statement coat for cooler days, this dress is designed to be cherished for years to come and handed down through generations as our mother’s, great aunt’s and grandmother’s clothes have been handed down to us.”
Poppy Delevingne x Clary & Peg Doris Dungaree, £185
“Poppy immediately loved the idea of yellow Doris Dungarees, and we chose this shade – a delicate lemon yellow in a soft breathable linen, as she felt it exuded warmth and joy. Functional yet feminine, they work beautifully with a romantic blouse or simple t-shirt, making them a versatile wardrobe staple.”
When you’re pregnant and feeling a little bit lost in terms of what to wear, who better to have on your family Whatsapp than the co-founder of beautifully made British maternity/eternity wear brand, Clary & Peg?
Having outgrown her regular wardrobe and grown tired of baggy tops and leggings, Poppy sat down with her cousin Edwina to design three fabulous pieces that felt true to her style and would make life more comfortable and stylish through pregnancy and beyond. Inspired by their incredibly stylish grandmother and great aunt, the collection has a wonderfully light touch with a vintage feel and each item can be worn dressed up or down. As with all Clary & Peg clothes, these key pieces are breast-feeding friendly and have been designed to be worn before, during and after pregnancy, making them extremely versatile and not just for a small window of time in your wardrobe.
We love the buttery yellow dungarees that are made from a beautifully soft linen fabric and the sprigged cotton dress with wrap around detail is perfect for fluctuating boobs, while the coral skirt is perfect for adding a pop of colour and could even be worn as a strapless dress. We’ll take it all!
