Best Travel Product (For Children) | Junior Design Awards 2022

These award winning travel products for children will make travelling a whole lot more fun for them (and stress free for us parents!)

Who:JetKids by Stokke

What:CloudSleeper by JetKids by Stokke

Why:

This inflatable bed really stopped our judges in their tracks. who were drawn in the by the beautiful clean, scandi design and clever no-pump required, 1 minute to inflate promise. This bed really is super lightweight but doesn’t feel at all flimsy with its full length side bumpers that keep kids secure and its soft air mesh cover fitted sheet which helps to regulate body temperature.

Our tester judge admitted she took a little bit longer to pump this up – more like 3 minutes – but once inflated it made the perfect bed for their camping trip and her son slept like a dream.

Beautifully designed, comfortable and easy to stow away when not in use. This will make travelling, camping and sleepovers so much easier.

Who:Scribble Mat

What:Reusable portable silicone colouring pack - In the Garden

Why:

These cute little parcels of on-the-go fun really appealed to our judges who could immediately see how useful, not to mention enjoyable they would be for families with young children. The clever silicone mats, featuring gorgeous illustrations that can be coloured in and wiped down time and time again really impressed the panel, as did the lovely, smooth silicone surface.

The handy, wrap style felt pouch for easy storage, with four, safety compliant non-toxic erasable markers that slot in neatly, was also much appreciated. Perfect for keeping kids entertained while travelling or whenever a fun distraction is needed.

Love the cute yellow pouch and the way everything can be carried so compactly and neatly.

Who:PACHEE

What:Rucksack and beltback pack

Why:

The JDA panel loved this rucksack/belt-bag hybrid that gives kids multiple options for travelling light, or not so light, depending on the adventure! The cool design that features padded straps for comfort and multiple pockets really stood out and the bright colour palette with contrasting zips was seen as a great idea for kids who like to look cool and parents who want to keep track of their kids.

The cute woven reward patches that come with each bag were super popular and the judges were excited to see that there were patches for every interest so that these backpacks could be given a really personal touch.

Such a great idea to have a rucksack with a detachable belt bag! The chunky zips, bright colours and fab patches make this a visual treat too.
