Who:Didofy
What:Innovative compact-fold pushchair
Why:
This stylish compact-fold pushchair, suitable from birth up to 25kg stood out in this category for its ultra-lightweight, bronze anodised frame that can be folded down to such a compact size that it can be taken on flights as hand luggage.
Our judges thought the comfy upright to flat seat and addition of a handy shoulder strap to help carry the folded frame were great features but most of all they loved the MagicFold mechanism, which allows the buggy to fold and unfold with the press of a single button!
This is such a stylish, nippy buggy with lots of fab features that make it comfortable to sit in and super easy to fold and carry. Perfect for parents who love to travel or who are simply tight on storage space at home
A really beautifully designed buggy that has a chic industrial feel, easy handling and amazing portability.
This did really well in MFM compact and lightweight categories. It's lovely to push, easy to fold, and pretty compact. A good-sized basket for the lightweight stroller too. I'd definitely consider buying this myself, it's a bit of an unsung hero - not flashy or expensive, but very functional and effective.
Such a great buggy that felt well-made and great to handle. The Magicfold button was a revelation and I can see this being brilliant for anyone who doesn’t have the patience for fiddly folding and for any parents, grandparents and carers who frequent planes, trains and automobiles.
Who:Micralite
What:ProFold Compact lightweight one-hand fold stroller
Why:
This Lightweight, compact buggy with a one-hand, one-second fold really impressed the panel in terms of versatility – it’s small enough to fit in any car boot, overhead train storage and falls within the cabin baggage allowance for major airlines – price and ease of use.
The option to let this buggy stand freely rather than having to find somewhere to prop it up also scored well.
Perfect for city dwellers who need something compact and portable, this feels like a great buggy to keep in the boot of your car for unexpected adventures or as an easy to store, spare for grandparents who help with childcare.
This has lovely compact fold and is freestanding so great for storing at home or when travelling as you can set it down beside you without worrying it'll get dirty, and the bamboo seatliner is a luxurious touch… However, the seat is quite reclined even at its most upright, and quite narrow, so this is very much a stroller for cities and travel rather than a good everyday option. Which is fair for this category, and the price, but it's not going above and beyond expectations
The smart leather effect bumper bar and handle make this feel well made and robust, it has decent storage space and that pro-fold movement is fabulous.

What:Dusty Pink MB03 Lightweight Stroller
Why:
It’s pink! Yes, for some people on the panel, the dusty pink melange colourway of this buggy scored instant points. Other features that the judges agreed stood out was the generous under carriage storage, the deep weather protective hood and the easy manoeuvrability.
A super cosy feeling buggy that makes taking baby to the shops easy.
This buggy felt lightweight and nice and easy to steer. That generous storage basket definitely turned my head too.
The basket is a decent size for a lightweight stroller, and the hood looks large enough to offer good shade and cover if you're caught out in a rainshower… At 7.9kg this is pretty lightweight so a good value option for travel.
