Who:Superlove Merino

What:Sustainable Zero Waste Collection

Why:

The eco credentials of Superlove Merino are impeccable and our judges were incredibly impressed by the lengths they go to as a company to ensure their production is as ethical and sustainable as possible, from sheep to finished garment and beyond.

The panel were super impressed by the quality of the clothing, marvelling over how inventive they have been with merino wool. The fact that Superlove has been a fully zero-waste brand since 2020 with all cutting room scrap being re-purposed into alternative products, scored highly and everyone felt that the use of recycled fabric had lead to truly exciting and innovative design within their collection. Their initiatives to repair and re-sell customer’s Superlove merino clothings were also a huge hit.

Just the most extraordinarily innovative eco-conscious brand who are always looking to do better. Brilliant.

Who:Smalls Merino

What:Sustainably made Merino Wool Separates

Why:

Our judges loved this collection of beautifully soft merino wool separates in sumptuous on trend shades that are designed to fit a child for at least two years. The quality of the wool – which is in itself inherently sustainable – sourced from incredibly happy sheep, really impressed, as did the immaculate finish of each garment.

The panel was excited to learn that Smalls’ merino is the product of a totally traceable supply chain using exclusively traceble Ethical ZQ certified Merino and that all the wool is processed in an Italian Mill with superb standards of care for the environment.

The most beautiful base layers and separates that can be worn under ski suits, for sports, as pyjamas or just for staying warm, cosy and dry.

Bonita Turner, Editor of JUNIOR

Charlotte Kewley, children’s stylist, @thelittlestylist

My children are fans of this range and it’s great to know as a parent, that this merino wool is antimicrobial, temperature regulating and scientifically proven to improve eczema.
