Who:Superlove Merino

What:Premium Ethical Merino Baby and Toddler Sleeping Bags

Why:

Our judges felt these thermo-regulating sleeping bags made from sustainable Merino wool, really stood out as a product that looked great, felt wonderfully soft and guaranteed a temperature regulated night all year round!

The fact that these suits can last from 2 – 4 years also appealed to our judges who agreed that the longevity, quality and ethical production of this sleeping bag made it excellent value for money as well as a great choice for eco-conscious parents.

Soft luxurious sleeping bags that bring the power of an amazing natural fibre into your every day and every night routine.

Who:DockATot

What:Luxury Tulip Shape sleeping bags

Why:

These beautifully finished sleeping bags featuring some of DockATot’s signature on-trend prints, were much applauded on both an aesthetic and practical level.

The gorgeous yellow stripes and Morris & Co prints made these bags really stand out, but it was the very cute, tulip shape of the bags created with babies’ specific movements in mind and the easy to use side zip and super quick popper fastenings on the shoulders that sealed the deal.

Just love the pared back shape, the clever details and those beautiful prints that DockATot is famous for.

I remember spending hours searching for tasteful sleeping bags that I would feel an affinity with and not having any luck. I’ve found my dream sleeping bags, seven years later!

Who:Lil & Izzy

What:Luxury Organic Sleeping Bags

Why:

These super soft, premium GOTS certified organic cotton sleeping bags were hugely popular with our judges who loved the simple pared back patterns in unisex tones and the clever design featuring a hint of stretch for extra comfort, zip off arms and a diagonal zipper that closes at the end of the bag for easy changing and for babies who like to stay snug as a bug through the night.

The panel appreciated the alternative of a feet open version for children who like to feel a little more free and felt that this brand had really looked at different parents and babies’ needs.

A well designed practical range with soothing colours and prints that won’t jar with the nursery décor!

A beautiful collection.

Who:Love to Dream

What:Love to Dream Swaddle

Why:

This incredibly well researched swaddle style sleeping bag was a big talking point amongst our judges, many of whom were big swaddle fans and others who wished they’d given it a go. The panel agreed that the Dream Swaddle was a great way to get the proven benefits of swaddling without getting into a fabric wrapping pickle!

The unique ARMS UPâ„¢ design that replicates a baby’s behaviour in the womb and allows them to access their hands and self soothe, made a huge amount of sense. Our judges also felt that these swaddle sleeping bags were extremely well made and could be passed down through many babies.

Excellent for soothing babies who find it hard to settle and great that it has a double ended zip for easy nappy changes in the night.

These saved my life when my baby was born - the least I can do is give them a 10!

The Swaddle sleeping bag that dreams are made of.

Sara Davis Smith Children’s Author, @sara_davis_smith

I got so exasperated with swaddling when I was a young mum and these seem like a super quick and easy alternative, keeping babies snug and secure. A fantastic design
