Who:Jem & Bea
What:Remy Eco Changing Backpack
Why:
This sleek, pared back and sustainably made backpack really excited our judges who loved the matte RPET recycled nylon used both inside and out, for both looks and impressive sustainability. Water resistant, very robust and yes, highly wipeable, this bag appealed to our parent judges who remembered just how much wear a tear a changing bag goes through in its formative years!
Our panel agreed that this bag was built to last and would appeal to parents who like a fresh unisex feel – in fact, the fight for which parent would get to keep this bag when baby changing days are over would definitely be an issue for family debate! With its extra wide roll top opening for easy access and rummaging, as well as a handy changing station at the front, this bag scored top marks.
This is a very hip design. I like that it doesn’t look like a traditional changing bag.
Such a stylish and practical design that every adult member of the family would be proud to carry.
You can tell this bag will stay fresh looking for years and I love the fact that it’s made from recycled bottles.
Who:Alf the Label
What:Luxe Ari Convertible Backpack
Why:
An incredibly stylish and multi-functional bag. Our judges were super excited by this very high-end leather offering, which looks like it could be a chic carry-all, smart enough for work, but equally at home just nonchalantly slung over your buggy handles.
The panel loved all the carefully thought out pockets, the differing lengths of straps for extra versatility and the fact that this bag will improve and soften with age.
An incredibly chic changing bag that is perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to compromise on style or function during the maternity years and beyond.
Definitely not just for maternity - this is a bag that you’ll carry with pride when your baby is old enough to take you out for dinner!

What:Inge Changing Backpack
Why:
Our judges were all drawn to this cool leopard print ‘grab and go’ backpack that cleverly adapts from shoulder to stroller making it super versatile for all kind of adventures. Made from certified GRS (Global recycled standard) 100% recycled PET Nylon, which is water repellent and easy to wipe clean, it ticked both the practical and eco-conscious preferences of the panel, not to mention looking fantastic too!
The long list of helpful details, including four external pockets with waterproof zips, two side slip pockets, five internal pockets and two internal thermo insulated bottle holders plus a Kari luxury quilted foldaway change mat included really wowed our crowd.
Oh wow! A leopard print bag that’s eco-friendly and brilliantly designed for new parents on the move. I can see a lot of leopard lovers all over this!
This is such a cool bag! It’s definitely the one that I’d pick up in a shop.
