Winner:GOLD Best Designed / Illustrated Book for Children

Who:Barefoot Books

What:Earth Song

Why:

This wonderful book filled with vibrant and engaging illustrations, is such a wonderful way to learn. Our judges felt that the rhyming text, coupled with the original song for your children to sing along, made discovering and learning about the earths’ seasonal cycles and how the sun and moon create them, almost effortless, as well as fun and stimulating. The extra information in the glossary at the back was also much appreciated, for those children who had their curiosity piqued!

A fantastic, interesting and fun way to teach your children. I learnt a thing or two too!

Beautiful use of colour - very dynamic and compelling. I particularly love the learning moments embedded throughout the book with repetition as well as the glossary at the back. An innovative way to learn science!
