WHO: Hera Co-Sleep Crib from Gaia Baby

WHAT: A stylish crib with drop down mesh sides that provide easy access to baby alongside an adult’s bed. The base features a patent pending air cushion to ensures 24/7, 360° air circulation for maximum peace of mind

WHY: This contemporary crib really caught our judges’ attention, who loved its sustainably grown, contrasting wood, clear side panels and very cool design aesthetic. The easy to drop mesh side panels, clever mattress design for maximum air circulation and soft curved edges showed great attention to baby’s safety and comfort while the highly portable nature of this crib was seen as another huge advantage for new parents.

A crib straight out of a chic interior design shoot. I can see this being incredibly popular with design conscious parents who want to invest in sustainably made equipment that they can pass down.

I’ve not seen a fully wooden co-sleeper before so this is quite new and interesting to me and would be great for those looking for something more sustainable.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture - giving the baby and parent a safe, wonderful co -sleeping experience. Not only does this crib look spectacular but the design is wonderful. From the pull down mesh slats - to the wheels to manoeuvre it easily and quietly.

WHO: Shnuggle Dreami Moses Basket and Stand

WHAT: A contemporary breathable, hypo-allergenic Moses basket

WHY: The sleek modern design of this Moses basket really stood out and our judges were extremely impressed with the larger than average basket made from a hypoallergenic, breathable and wipeable material available in three colour ways. The clever arch-shaped stand that can be positioned at bed height or inverted to create a lower level, rocking base also grabbed their attention in the best possible way.

A generous sized Moses basket for anyone who wants to get a little more mileage out of this stage of sleeping arrangement. Perfect for modern families who love contemporary design.
Bonita Turner, Editor of JUNIOR
This is a very different take on the Moses basket which tends to be very traditional - this is not and it’s great for modern homes. The two in one stand is innovative but also useful: allowing you to rock your child to sleep with one hand. Overall I really like this.
Gemma Cartwright, Consumer & Commerce Editor, @madeformums
This basket is very practical. It can be used as a bedside crib, and is also easily moved around the home for day time naps: so you could use it as your main sleeping station. Beautiful classic neutral design which would blend in every household. Love the way that you can adjust the legs to have as a standing station, or a soothing rocking unit - a genius invention!
Jakki Jones, Talent PR and artist, @jakkidoodles
A very cool looking Moses basket with plenty of practical features. Never underestimate how important the word wipeable is when it comes to baby equipment! The choice of a static or rocking mode is brilliant too.
