Junior Magazine Childrens Fashion The French Shopping Destination We’re Obsessed With…

There’s nothing like sweeping through a French supermarket and discovering all the exciting homewares and clothing on top of the gourmet food offerings. This season we’re super excited about Monoprix’ kidswear offerings – particularly their baby range, called Bout’Chou, which translates as sweet little thing and runs from six to 36 months.

Monoprix is a popular French supermarket/department store that could be compared to the UK’s John Lewis and Waitrose in terms of quality and the latest collection features embroidered knitwear, blouses and corduroy pieces that have that elevated French feel with accessible prices that mean they can be worn for playtime as well as chic family moments. Lots of the clothes are made from GOTS certified Organic cotton so we are impressed on so many levels.

Frustratingly, Monoprix doesn’t ship directly to the UK BUT there are delivery services that specialise in providing a French, middle address that will then forward onto you. Failing that, we think a run to France to stock up on wine and nibbles with a side order of clothes is in order or maybe its time to get back in touch with that French exchange pen pal!
