Junior Magazine Fashion Awards 2025 Best First Walker Footwear Collection | Junior Design Awards 2025

Winner:GOLD - Best First Walker Footwear Collection

Who: Bobux

What:Bobux Xplorer Collection 2025

Why:

These lightweight, colourful little first walkers, specifically aimed at cruisers, were praised for their lightweight and flexible designs, and our judges loved the wide array of colours available to choose from too. Our panel really liked the innovative approach Bobux has taken in addressing the stages before the first real steps, which is a crucial time for development. The grippy soles and clever reinforced toecaps to protect tiny toes in the crawling stages really made these shoes a cut above.

A brand you can 100% trust with your child's first steps!

Charlotte Kewley, Stylist & founder of @thelittlestylist

Quality and comfort can be guaranteed with this brand. Excellent design and peace of mind.

What a thoughtfully designed collection, Bobux was a staple in our home when my kids were little.

Winner:SILVER - Best First Walker Footwear Collection

Who:Rolly®

What:Rolly Slippers Bébé Collection

Why:

These adorable slippers made waves with our judges who loved the different animal designs – the koala is especially adorable! The soft leather, newly developed barefoot shape and easy on-and-off elastic cuffs really impressed the panel who felt these slippers were the perfect balance of fun and supportive and would make a lovely gift for any baby.

The rabbit ears are super cute!

My kids would have absolutely loved these, the little fin on the shark pair is too adorable. The suede lining is really soft and the stretchy back is super practical.

Eleonore Crompton, Deputy Editor, Junior

Love this fun approach to first walkers, I like that they’re nice and wide at the front so they won't squash little toes.
