Sometimes there’s a toy at the Junior Design Awards Judging days that every parent wants to take home. This year, it was this high-tech greenhouse that topped our judges’ wish lists. Combining the joy of growing your own with exciting science, this kit allows young botanists to grow plants in soil, test tubes with cotton, or even agar gels, using built-in sensors, an LCD screen, LED lights, and an electronic temperature humidity, and light control.
This is such a wonderful, hands-on way to learn about the science of plants and feel the satisfaction of nurturing something. A perfect present to foster an understanding of plant care and biology while having lots of fun!

Extra points were awarded for its long lifespan (5-12 years) and its easy to fold-down motion.
So fun and practical. Perfect for those anxious moments at dusk in the park when your child becomes hard to spot as they ask for just a little bit longer! The long lifespan is also such a plus.
