Our judges were super excited by this ultra-compact pushchair designed for on-the-go families who love to travel. Weighing in at just 7kg, it is IATA cabin approved and fits into an overhead plane locker with ease. The JDA panel loved the Pip’s stylish aesthetic and cool colour choices as well as its smooth handling and myriad of thoughtfully designed details with emphasis on your child’s AND your comfort.
I like that although it's a compact pushchair, it feels sturdy and well built, with premium fabrics and attention to small details. Love, love, love the fluorescent yellow highlights, which feel fun and modern and stand out vs others in the market... By biding their time before entering this market sector, iCandy has been able to finesse this before launch and make sure it’s perfect.
A really great buggy that feels lovely to push and is so easy to fold down and then a doddle to carry. The design feels fresh and modern.
Great that this has a lie-flat seat making it suitable from birth. A great choice for families travelling with little ones or for those who just want a lightweight buggy that is easy to fold down and store.

This extremely compact and lightweight stroller got a lot of love over the Junior Design Awards judging days. At only 6.5 kg it is incredibly lightweight and with a tiny fold, it is a fantastic stroller for city streets and travel. Suitable from 6 months, it can easily be carried over your shoulder when folded and fits easily into airline overhead lockers. With its smooth push, improved hood and seat fabric, our judges felt that it still occupied a unique position in this much expanded stroller market.
Still a market leader, the Yoyo is instantly recognisable and comes in great colour ways. The new model has solved a few issues with a much better, deeper hood... Big plus for the number of accessories you can add to this - the shopping bag is my favourite - and the easy harness. Also feels lovely to push.
Such a smooth ride and so easy to fold. Perfect for babies 6 months plus who love to go on adventures.
The design is beautiful and despite being so compact it has loads of storage space for shopping and baby kit.

Weighing in at just 6.1 kg , the ickle bubba Aries Auto-Fold stroller was the lightest buggy presented at the JDAs. Its ingenious auto-fold system that is operated at the touch of a button really wowed the panel and features like an extra large seat to accommodate your growing child, a multi position recline and UPF 50+ hood with viewing window were much appreciated. Our judges were truly impressed with the wealth of convenient and thoughtful design features that ickle bubba managed to incorporate into this supremely lightweight stroller that tucks into overhead transport lockers and racks with ease.Â
Truly lightweight, and folds down to a nice neat package. Good recline and hood for naps, and the fold is super simple. One thing I do love is that there's a manual lock once folded - too many of these auto fold strollers are missing this and "pop" open too easily.
This is such a smart buggy in every sense. I know so many parents who would appreciate that one button auto-fold that will make life so much easier on the move with little ones.
This is a great stroller for anyone who hates getting in a tangle! I can see this being a favourite with grandparents too. No calling up your grown-up kids when you just can't fold down that buggy!

The versatility of this stroller really grabbed our judges’ attention. A whole travel system on a lightweight, narrow chasse that is perfect for navigating city life, you can use it in pram mode with the detachable carrycot, stroller mode and this model comes with a matching Easymaxi LF car seat for seamless moves in and out of the car. Our judges enjoyed the 4 wheel suspension and ball bearing wheels which made for an extremely smooth ride, an extendable UPF 50+ Hood, carrycot handles and were impressed to learn that the Minipop stroller is made from eco-conscious materials. Bravo!
Euro chic vibes… If you love a matching set this is the one for you. As a pram it feels quite vintage, but once the seat is added it feels more modern.
This is such a well thought out set that will give parents so much flexibility with all the benefits of a compact lightweight model.
