Who:WIGIWAMA

What:The Moon Chair

Why:

There wasn’t a judge in the JDA house who didn’t want their moment reclining on The Moon Chair. Designed for children (and big kids), our panel loved the soft tactile bouclé finish and the easy to adjust modules that are lightweight enough for a child to move into different configurations and robust enough to provide comfortable and supportive seating to snuggle in. Perfect for a play room or any room in the house that needs a playful touch.

The Moon Chair stole the show for me. One of my favourite items this year. I mean it’s just a beautiful statement piece of furniture isn’t it. The texture is a dream, its aesthetically pleasing but also fun, practical and comfortable for kids. And don’t worry, the cover is removable and washable!

Charlotte Kewley, founder of The Little Stylist, @thelittlestylist

Really innovative to deconstruct this lovely chair so that it offers more imaginitive fun for the child.

Jennifer Cattaui, founder of Babesta, New York, @babesta

A real centrepiece for the home and children’s play. The perfect mix of design and
entertainment.

Bonita Turner, Editor of Junior, @juniormagazineonline

This modular chair encourages making camps and using the imagination in the most chic way
possible.

Who:Gaia Baby

What:The Gaia Baby Maia collection

Why:

The Maia Collection was extremely popular with our interiors focused judges who praised each piece for its exceptional quality, soothing colour palette and soft, GOTS certified pure organic cotton. The panel could see that this collection had been thoughtfully designed with a desire to create a sense of sanctuary at its heart. The muslin canopies, decorative pillows, blankets and fitted sheets looked fabulous together or individually creating a stylish sanctuary for little ones.

Oh the braided muslin pillow is a perfect addition to any nursery. Perfect, calm colour palettes.

Charlotte Kewley, founder of The Little Stylist, @thelittlestylist

This is such a beautifully made and pretty collection.

Who:Hygge Sheets

What:Hygge Sheets© Mattress Protectors

Why:

Our judges agreed that Hygge Sheets© Mattress Protectors are an excellent solution
for managing potty training and bedwetting. This clever alternative to a disposable top sheet was praised for its sustainability and our judges felt these protectors looked fun and stylish while providing a practical and inconspicuous way of protecting bed linen. A great way to enable parents to deal with wet bed clothes quickly and easily with minimal disturbance whether it be in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning before family rush hour.

Very cute designs making this functional product fun

Jennifer Cattaui, founder of Babesta, New York, @babesta

A great idea, I’m sure anyone who’s been through the potty training stage will appreciate these!

Charlotte Kewley, founder of The Little Stylist, @thelittlestylist

These mattress protectors are a great way to make short work of wet sheet changing and will save on so much washing, drying and bed making.

Bonita Turner, Editor of Junior, @juniormagazineonline

Great designs that kids will feel proud to have on their beds and parents will thank their lucky stars for in the middle of a wet night!
