These Junior Design Award winning decorations should adorn every stylish child's bedroom or play room

Winner:GOLD Best Interiors Design (Decoration)

Who:Of Unusual Kind

What:Paper Doll Wall Art Prints

Why:

Hugely talented artist, Anja Kroencke strikes again with a clever adaptation of her award-winning paper dolls. Our judges loved these clever 3D images that quite literally leap off the wall with ready-made paper dolls that are easily detached from their backgrounds and can be decorated, played with and then re-framed again, giving children the ability to create a truly personal piece of artwork.

I absolutely love these inspiring and beautiful art pieces.

Daisy Lowe, model and broadcaster, @daisylowe

Interesting idea to have interactive and changing art - toy!

Jennifer Cattaui, founder of Babesta, New York, @babesta

I love the bold inspiring design, refreshingly unprincessy.

Lucy Clayton, doll's house maker and writer, @mslucyclayton

Just wonderful. I love these nostalgic paper dolls that have been given a new lease of life in Anja Kroencke’s books and now as works of art in their own right.

This would be such a fun project for any child who loves to see their work up on the wall and will make a wonderful keepsake for years to come. One of my favourite brands we have discovered through the Junior Design Awards.

Who:Mica-Mica

What:Premium fabric wall stickers for children

Why:

Mica-Mica really stood out to our judges and was praised for their broad range of beautifully illustrated and graphic designs. The panel was impressed with this brand’s commitment to sustainability, using only 100% PVC-free fabric for their stickers and loved the way these decals could update and transform a room in an instant and then be taken down again whenever required with zero fuss or damage to paintwork.

These wall stickers feel like a cut above. They are so easy to use, a lovely texture and the selection of imagery is wonderfully varied and of extremely high quality.

Who:My Baby Days

What:All My Firsts prints

Why:

These beautiful milestone prints were much praised by our judges who felt they would make the perfect gift for a new baby. The sweet illustrations recording cherished moments in a child’s life really resonated with the panel who loved the clever inclusion of a dinky ink date stamp with each print, really elevating the whole process of recording precious memories.

Such a wonderful way of recording all those special milestones that can so easily be forgotten. These prints would look beautiful in any nursery and I can see children poring over them as they grow, delighting in their progress.

Eleonore Crompton, Deputy Editor, Junior, @juniormagazineonline

This is beautifully rendered and appeals to me enormously as a lazy parent who has never managed to fill in those intimidating ”my first” books for any child!

Lucy Clayton, doll's house maker and writer, @mslucyclayton

Such a perfect gift for a newborn. I absolutely love the date stamp element, which feels both cute and official! Would make such a wonderful gift.
