This hand embroidered, sustainably produced tapestry was a big hit with our judges who all agreed that it would make a wonderful heirloom gift for a child. Perfect for adding magical hand-spun charm to any bedroom or play space, this Solar System version of Moppet’s much loved wool tapestries – one made an appearance in Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, don’t you know? – is particularly mesmerising.
This is so eye-catching. Love that my kids would love it but that it is still aesthetic for interiors!

With an incredible array of beautiful motifs and a style and subject to appeal to every child, this nursery wallpaper brand really blew the JDA panel away. Our judges agreed that Munks & Me had really gone the extra mile to create magical spaces for little ones. The planet conscious values of the brand also impressed our judges – eco-friendly inks on responsibly sourced materials and made-to-order production, ensuring as gentle a footprint as possible.
I love Munks & Me - I’ve got a few prints at home. I especially love the safari wallpaper. Wow!

The Junior Design Awards judges loved Mica-Mica’s wall stickers made from soft, fabric-based materials that stick on and peel off walls with ease. The soft matte finish was much appreciated, elevating these wall decals into something that feels more substantial and considered – definitely not your average stickers! The incredible range of themes available really impressed the panel who felt there were designs that would appeal to every child. A great way to update a room in minutes!

What:Lion & The Pear Art Prints for Kids
Why:
These nature inspired prints by talented artist Stephanie Breeze really drew our judges in. The JDA panel agreed that these prints are packed with personality and would make the perfect update for any nursery or playroom. The original drawings and painting are warm and friendly with fun touches like striped borders and cute slogans that children and design conscious parents will love.
I absolutely love these prints - they caught my eye straight away!

These adorable prints were a much-loved addition to the Interiors section of the Junior Design Awards. The friendly, nature inspired characters – even acorns have faces in the land of Mouse & Meg – are beautifully rendered and tap into children’s imaginations and love of detail. Our judge could see that these prints would bring warmth and joy to nursery spaces and they were impressed by the brand’s eco-friendly, 100% plastic-free packaging and commitment to sustainable production.
