JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS WINNERS FOR BEST CREATIVE PLAY: GOLD

WHO: DockATot

WHAT: DockATot Tent of Dreams

WHY: These stunning luxury tents in classic Morris & Co prints were a huge draw for our judges who could see how sumptuous and cocooning they would feel for little ones. The luxurious details, including tassels, bobble trims and rich, polished wood poles, give these tents a plush interiors-led feel that grown-ups will love as much as children. Super easy to pitch and fold down, the panel agreed that this was the dream hide-away you’d be proud to have on display in any room of the house.

A mere few years ago these debuted at the JDA - and let again they have caught the judges eyes and scooped the board! Just dreamy. A stylish addition to any playroom.

This is such a fabulous eco-friendly and versatile addition to your child’s toy box. Easy to store and opens up a world of imagination

I love the idea of the founder searching for a night sky backdrop and then making one herself! A simple idea that adds layers of fun to creative play.

WHO: Jellystone Designs

WHAT: Balloon Colour Sorter

WHY: This adorable colour sorter really caught our judges’ attention. The bold tactile silicone balloon shapes that are easy for little hands to pluck off their beautifully illustrated board were an instant hit and the judges could see how this game would help with colour recognition, memory and hand eye coordination.

A really gorgeous toy that little ones will return to time and time again.
