Who:Little Bird By Jools Oliver

What:Little Bird by Jools Oliver Boys Collection

Why:

Made to stand out from the crowd and stand up to the rough and tumble of active play, the Little Birds by Jools Oliver collection really impressed our judges. The panel loved the nostalgic references to 70’s and 80’s fashion from the designer’s own childhood and could feel a sense of joy in every piece. Although everything on show could be described as unisex it was refreshing to see a boys’ collection that was creative, fun and extremely high on cute factor. The quality, attention to detail and great choice of tactile fabrics were also commented on.

Absolutely love this collection. It’s so joyful.

Who:Marks & Spencer

What:M&S x The Doodle Boy Collection

Why:

Our judges were super excited by this innovative, unisex charity collection with all profits going to the charity YoungMinds. The panel thought the clothes looked fresh and exciting and were thrilled to learn that this is a long-term partnership between M&S and YoungMinds, aiming to raise £5m across three years, to help deliver vital resources to young people and adults in need of mental health support.

Super cool! I want to wear it! This is a brilliant fusion of creativity and purpose. Packed with personality, each piece reflects the playful, expressive spirit of Doodle Boy’s art. What makes this collaboration truly stand out is the heart behind it, the dedication to raising awareness and supporting mental health.

Oh Miffy! Was the resounding cry when our judges approached this fabulous clothing and accessories collaboration between the famous rabbit and Cath Kidston. The panel felt that this collection melded the very best of these two cherished design houses with the graphic Miffy looking perfectly at home within Cath Kidston’s archetypal prints. The JDA judges felt that this wasn’t simply a masterstroke of print design but praised the collection for its exciting use of texture and silhouette.

Ahh! So many good things to say about this. It is a delightful fusion of playful nostalgia and elegant design. As a stylist, I’m captivated by the attention to detail—especially in the dresses. The combination of the whimsical hand-drawn botanical print with intricate cotton broderie and appliqued patches creates texture and depth, making it easy to style for both casual playdates and more polished occasions.

Maria Montané

MIFFY FOR LIFE!!! Love, love, love.
