Forget furrowed brows over matcha lattes and dramatic country-pad exits, Binky Felstead’s true calling is designing beautiful, stylish children’s clothes.
Best know for her stint on reality TV show, Made in Chelsea, Binky is now a mother of three, a successful author, entrepreneur and we can confidently say, brilliant kids’ fashion designer too.
At the recent launch of her new range with Marks & Spencer, Junior was blown away by the entire collection. Every single piece was beautifully considered, tasteful, stylish and of the great quality you’d expect from M&S. We’re used to seeing lots of celeb collabs but this one really stands out from the crowd with incredibly covetable pieces that hit just the right note between tasteful and fun. It really is unusual for every single piece in a collection like this to be a winner but in this instance we really did love everything.
Binky told us that the collection comprised of two strands of inspiration; the classic, pretty dresses, smart coats and knits she was dressed in as a child as well as more pared back, scandi pieces, featuring traditional Swedish motifs referencing her husband’s Swedish heritage.
As well as looking fabulous this collection has been designed with children’s sensory sensitivities in mind and features soft, breathable fabrics and gentle textures that won’t irritate or itch. Every element – from the buttons and cuffs to the patches and trims – has been carefully considered to create a clothing collection that can be worn and enjoyed by all.
Congratulations Binky and M&S, this is possibly our favourite celeb collab ever – and we don’t say that lightly!
“I’m so excited to be working with Marks & Spencer on this Kidswear collection. As a mum, I know how important it is to find clothes that are both stylish and practical. Above all, I wanted to create something that felt truly special – clothes that my own children would love to wear, and that other parents would feel proud to dress their little ones in. This range is full of pieces that are exactly that – fun, comfortable, and made to last. The final collection is full of heart, and I hope families feel that when they see and wear it.” Binky Felstead
