Hot off the heels of their chic Bonpoint collectionthey have joined forces with inimitably joyful children’s brand, The Animals Observatory to create three candy-coloured interpretations of VEJA’s classic V-10 trainer.
Spanish brand, The Animals Observatory are known for their fresh approach to comfortable kids’ clothes with an emphasis on colour and a sense of fun. The brand is based around creative director Laia Aguilar philosophy of “being a good animal, true to your instincts.”
Eco Credentials:
Aligned with VEJA’s ethical credentials, the top of the trainer is made from ChromeFree leather that is sourced from farms located in the South of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), where it undergoes an innovative tanning process where no chrome, heavy metals, or dangerous acids are involved. By simplifying this tanning process, the use of chemicals and energy are dramatically limited with the use of water reduced by 40% and the use of salt reduced by 80%. The sole of the shoe is made of 31% Amazonian rubber and the lining of the inside of the shoe is made of 100% recycled polyester.
