Art Attack is back!
The classic children's television show returns to Disney Junior
Do you remember Art Attack?
The original series, featuring a talking clay head and enormous artworks created from myriad miscellaneous items was one of ITV’s most enduring children’s shows, running from 1989 to 2007.
Now, the classic programme has returned to Disney Junior, revived and ready to inspire a new generation of young artists. The new series will feature a mix of creative ideas and techniques for children including makes using recycled materials, and Disney themed crafts including a wooden imitated sword inspired by Disney Junior’s animated series Jake and the Never Land Pirates.
The programme's new presenter, Lloyd Warbey, was inspired to get involved after watching the original show “I was a big fan of Art Attack growing up and used to watch the show with my family, and then try to recreate the makes. I’m thrilled that I can now be a part of the show’s heritage and hopefully inspire children to think imaginatively and get creative.”
