Our judges agreed that the dedicated children’s spaces – both indoor and outdoor – are stunning here. Beautifully crafted play equipment, an indoor play barn, a dedicated painting studio and workshop and indoor waterslides more than fulfil AKI’s philosophy of creating “Memories for a lifetime” before they’ve even ventured outside. Here, an outdoor petting farm, a myriad of exciting activities and daily adventures led by a professional educational team, build confidence, and guarantee plenty of fresh air fun.
In the winter months the resort turns into a snow-laden skiing, tobogganing and hiking destination, making it a great place to holiday all year round with kids. The Junior Travel panel was hugely impressed with this alpine haven that stands out for its exceptional family services and cosy yet contemporary accommodation. The award winning spa was also much admired. An ideal destination for families who want shared experiences and connection set against a backdrop of soul-nurturing nature.
