Snow White dancing with the seven dwarves, Peter Pan flying high, Cinderella fitting the glass slipper... ask any child, or grown up, and almost everyone will have a favourite Disney memory. This year, Disney Junior are asking fans to share their very first Disney memory and in return will donate £1 to the Great Ormond Street Hospital children's charity, until they reach the target of a whopping £1 million. Denise Van Outen: My earliest Disney memory is learning the theme tune to the Mickey Mouse club. I always loved Mickeys bright red shorts. All my friends preferred Minnie, but I'm definitely a Mickey fan. Funny thing is , my daughter Betsy prefers Mickey to Minnie. I also love Snow White. I think she is the most beautiful of all the Disney characters
Emma Bunton: Watching Mary Poppins was my first Disney memory. I remember singing along to the songs and being fascinated by the colours, characters and Mary flying over the London rooftops !
Thandie Newton: Admittedly, I don't remember watching many Disney films as a kid, it's a world I've come to enjoy as an adult, almost MORE than my two children! My favourite has got to be The Princess and the Frog - Raymond the glowbug cracks me up every time.
Edith Bowman: I went to Disneyworld in Florida when I was six and then again when my mum was pregnant with my little brother. Since then, I’ve been to Paris and LA so it’s been a big part of growing up, not just for me but for my little boy as well.
Jo Whiley: My youngest daughter Coco is two and a half and is now completely captivated by Disney Princesses and the whole fairytale fantasy - and I am relishing it!! We often dance around the living room pretending to be Tinkerbell or Rapunzel. I thought Tangled was absolutely magical and actually cried at the scene with the Chinese lanterns. It was Disney magic at it's best
