Junior Magazine JDA News Why enter the Junior Design Awards 2025?

All your questions answered...

How do I know which category to enter my brand/product?

First up, we strongly suggest you take a good look at our categories. This year we have a whopping 93 awards so there will definitely be one that fits your brand or product perfectly. You may find that you fit into several categories. We suggest opting for the award that you would want to shout about if you were to win.

I’m still a little unsure. Can I talk to someone on the Junior Design Awards Team?

YES, OF COURSE! We’re more than happy to discuss which category is right for your product or brand, answer any questions and help guide you to make the most of your entry. Email: info@juniordesignawards.co.uk

How many categories can I enter in the Junior Design Awards?

You can enter as many categories as you like and you can enter the same product into more than one category. You will benefit from a 10% discount on your third entry and a 20% discount on your fifth entry.

How much does it cost to enter the awards?

Single entry fee is £275. This includes use of logos.

Are there any alternative ways to pay for my entries?

Payment is made online, using our secure online payment form. Accepted online payment methods include Maestro, Mastercard, Visa, Delta, and Visa Debit. Entries can also be paid for by invoice. Please contact our team at info@juniordesignawards.co.uk to organise this, as we have to manually submit your entry.

Entries will not be considered for shortlisting until payment is complete. If you’re having any difficulties, please do contact us to discuss in confidence at info@juniordesignawards.co.uk

Regrettably payments are non-refundable, even if you withdraw from the Awards.

When is the closing date for entries?

Friday 9th May 2025 at 11.59pm.

When do products have to be on-sale by?

All products entered into the Junior Design Awards 2025 must be available to purchase on or before 1st September, 2025. Any queries on this please do get in touch.

I’m having problems using the online entry form. Who should I contact?

Please contact the dedicated Awards Team by emailing us at info@juniordesignawards.co.uk as soon as possible.

Will I know if I’ve been shortlisted?

YES. We will email you with all the next steps, request a sample(s) of the product(s) to be sent in for judging, and send you a shortlist logo so you can share the news. We will give you all information including address of where to send your product/s, the deadline and how to send to us. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANYTHING UNTIL YOU RECEIVE CONFORMATION FROM US.

Will I need to send samples in? How many? And if so, will I get them back?

We will request samples of any shortlisted products. These will be judged and tested by our panel of experts, external judges and often real-life parents. Each category requires a different amount of samples. We will advise you on this when we confirm you have been shortlisted.

We are sorry but we cannot return any products after the awards and cannot be responsible for any transport/customs charges. Any queries or questions on this please contact the editorial team who can advise further.

How will the awards be judged?

Entries will initially be shortlisted by the Junior Editorial team. Then a panel of esteemed experts from within the design, lifestyle and parenting industries will judge all the shortlisted products in person during our judging week in early July 2025.

What happens if I win?

If you are shortlisted, or win an award, you will be given exclusive rights to the newest Junior Design Awards logo included in the entry fee. All winners will be featured on juniormagazine.co.uk For a full list of benefits, see the ‘Why Enter?’ section on the entry homepage.

When will I find out if I’ve won?

Results will be announced in mid-September 2025. The official date will be announced nearer the time.

My question isn’t listed here. Who can I ask about it?
