The judges have chosen .. the best children toiletries collection

Junior Magazine Lifestyle Awards 2025 Best Children’s Toiletries Collection | Junior Design Awards 2025

Winner:GOLD - Best Children's Toiletries Collection

Who:Lav-Kids

What:Lav-Kids Skincare

Why:

This dermatologically tested, cruelty-free product range made from natural and organic ingredients really excited the JDA panel. Cool ice-cream colour packaging featuring stylish graphics and easy pump dispensers got top marks for design but it was the smooth and soothing formulations with clean smells that really got the judges talking. A great starter kit for kids who want to feel empowered by a gentle skincare regime with products designed specifically for young skin.

Beautiful packaging and lovely scents.

Becca Maberley, Author & Founder of @amotherplace

We love the design, the smell and that these products are kind to the skin. The packaging is wonderful. We would use this for all ages of kids.

Cressida Bonas and Isabella Branson, hosts of @lessonsfromourmothers podcast

Packaging is clearly labelled, chunky and easy to use for kids.

Dina Moon, Head Buyer, Childrensalon @childrensalon

A nice neutral design that isn’t too 'kidsy' but also appeals to kids. Appreciate the skin and planet friendly ethos - natural, clean skincare for kids.

Sophie Beresiner, Journalist, Author & Brand Founder @sophieberesiner

Really lovely bright colours without looking babyish. So lovely. This brand scores well for innovation for the mineral sunscreen alone. I know how much work goes into it.,

Winner:SILVER - Best Children's Toiletries Collection

Who:Percy & Pop

What:Percy & Pop Shampoo & Conditioner Bars

Why:

The packaging of these gorgeous smelling shampoo and conditioner bars is so cute it was almost a shame to unwrap them! The enticing smells soon put an end to that thought and our judges were in raptures over these plastic-free, sulphate-free, vegan haircare bars that are suitable for sensitive skin, including babies with eczema. The panel loved the ergonomically shaped bars, which are shaped for small hands to hold, and the stats that these bars replace at least two plastic bottles each, reducing landfill and waste, really got them buzzing.

One of the best performing shampoo bars we’ve tried. Expect a frothy, skin-softening lather and sweet citrus scent. The perfect space-saving travel toiletry.

Charlotte Jolly, Creative Director & Junior’s Contributing Beauty & Wellness Editor @mscharliejolly

Absolutely love the look and smell of these bars!

Becca Maberly, Author & Founder of @amotherplace

Full of personality and cute cast of characters, making them a fun addition to your bathroom shelf. Refreshing to see a simple product so imaginatively presented.

Dina Moon, Head buyer Childrensalon

Playful, fun and super inviting. I like the option of either fragranced or unfragranced.

Sonia Haria, Beauty Director of The Telegraph @soniaharia

A brilliant, easy, multi-purpose concept to save my kids pouring their usual bottled product down the drain. A really welcome addition to bathtime.

Winner:BRONZE - Best Children's Toiletries Collection

Who:Mini U

What:Mini U Toiletries Range for Baby & Child

Why:

Our judges loved this product range that really puts the fun into bathtime. Bright packaging and exciting interactive treats with irreverent names like Fizzy Plops (mini bath bombs) and colourful Bath Bubbles in magic potion hues are the perfect lure for water shy kids. The JDA panel was pleased to learn that this range is made in Great Britain and is committed to sustainability, using no micro-plastics, sustainable palm oil, and planet-friendly packaging.

Perfect gifts – the bath crayons are fab - or just bathtime bribes that have the added bonus of smelling great.

Eleonore Crompton, Deputy Editor, Junior

The most imaginative and joyful children’s toiletries brand, with thoughtfully-formulated and
planet-friendly products. I always have something from Mini U in my gifting drawer (usually the Fizzy Plops), everyone loves them.

Charlotte Jolly, Creative Director & Junior’s Contributing Beauty & Wellness Editor @mscharliejolly

A brilliant range of super fun bath products! Love the fizzy plops!

Becca Maberly, Author & Founder of @amotherplace

The bath crayons are just so much fun and the bath bombs fab for gifts. The design is very strong with child friendly packaging that will also appeal to mums and dads.
