Little Bird by Jools Oliver is BACK!

Hooray! Cartwheels! Mexican waves!

We're even going to throw in a little bit of body popping because that's how excited we are that Little Bird By Jools Oliver is back! YES! You read that correctly.

Having said goodbye to the sunshine infused, retro-fonted label when Mothercare shut its doors in late 2019, we had resigned ourselves to trawling Ebay for Little Bird gems, but NEXT has gone and saved the day, scooping up the licenses for both Myleene Klass and Jools Oliver's kids' collections and selling them exclusively on-line!

Devoted fans of Jools Oliver's range will be thrilled to hear that Little Bird, which first launched in 2012, is back in all its rainbow, retro glory, featuring the witty slogans, sun-soaked colours and fab detailing that everyone loves. This time round, however, there is a slight twist and as well as taking inspiration from classic 70's design, Jools is also tapping into the retro treasure trove that is the 80's. We knew body popping was an appropriate way to celebrate! Junior was also extremely excited to hear that children's fashion designer, George Reddings, who worked with Jools on all the previous Little Bird collections is back on board - the original dream team reunited.

Jools says,

Little Bird has always been about nostalgic memories of my childhood, mainly inspired by the 1970’s. Our new Little Bird collection at Next continues this concept but we’re also bringing in a bit of an 80’s vibe, recreating some of my favourite items from that time. We’ve loved introducing fresh new colours and exciting graphics, all with our familiar unisex styling and positive attitude.

After spending so much time at home over the last year, I wanted this collection to be about adventure. Seeking new ways to explore and play, even if that’s in the garden or close to home. Think bright and fun, full of imagination and curiosity.
