Sisters Emma and Alice, founders of Olivier Baby, turn the clock back to a reimagined childhood...
Olivier Baby SS13
If you were five years old again, what is the first thing you would do?
Take off our clothes and run around the garden!
What advice would you give your five-year-old self?
Don’t worry – be happy and have fun.
What rules would you stick to?
- A please and thank you always goes down well.
- No hitting or biting!!
What rules would you break?
None! Always be jolly good and do what mummy and daddy tell you!
If you could, would you do anything to change your character?
No, if everyone was the same, life would be very boring.
Would you play more or try to learn harder?
Definitely play more – there would be time to learn harder when we turn six.
Knowing what you know now, what would you want to be when you grew up?
A travel writer – you get to travel all over the world, see amazing things and meet interesting people.
What would you do for fun/hobbies?
We’d still really like a guinea pig pleeeeeeeeeease.
What pearls of wisdom would you pass on to your five-year-old friends?
Be kind to each other– the friends you make now, you will have for the rest of your life.
How would you dress yourself?
As brightly and as fun a possible. You’ve got plenty of time for blacks and greys when you are grown up.
What would you ask to have for a slap up dinner?
Toad in the hole followed by ice cream with sprinkles.
What would you insist upon doing if you only had one day to spend being aged five before returning to adulthood?
Making a den with grandpa and camping out under the stars.
