The RESERVEâ„¢ Plan is all-inclusive which means all meals, drinks (and champagne, wine and cocktails), and activities (more on that below) on the resort are included – with multiple restaurants, kid-friendly options, and themed experiences – parents are actually free to relax and focus on fun, not arguing over what’s for dinner and dare we say, will make eating together as a family on holiday a joy!
Families can enjoy all-day dining, fresh foods and snacks at the beach front and cosy inside tables at Vista Del Mar. Here you can enjoy all-day, buffet-style dining with hot and cold stations like gourmet cheese, delicatessen, and a patisserie table not to be missed. Even the fussiest of eaters will fine something here! Sangu Beach Restaurant (and beach bar) is the place for middle-eastern foods and an inspiring cocktail menu, and for pool snacks, ice-creams and sundowners head to Ozar.
For evenings the stylish, yet child-friendly restaurants range from modern European meals at Origine – with a selection of tables set over the water. This is the place to try wine and champagne with the resident sommelier on hand to help you decide. The lush garden like setting at Saffron offers a Zen dining experience and delightful IndianThalli plates (don’t miss the Butter Chicken and the Paneer Makhan Wala), and the pan-asian dishes at Soyi at so moreish that you’ll wish you holiday was longer just to be able to dine here again. Try possibly the best-ever Thai Red Prawn Curry, the Wok Fried Lotus Root and the Dim Sum.

3. The Largest Kids’ Club in the Maldives
Boasting the the largest kids’ club in the Maldives. For children aged 3–12 years, the Kuda Koli Kids’ Club means they have their own vibrant space to play, learn, and make friends – while parents enjoy some well-earned relaxation (a spa day, or one of those cocktails we keep mentioning!). Tweens can enjoy their own dedicated space with age-appropriate games and activities.
With daily, age-appropriate activities from 9am – 6pm each day, the kids club offers a mix of free play, morning workouts, pool area and toddler splash pool (with cute mini sun loungers and beach towels no less), a sandy park play area and climbing frames, and a regular rotated schedule that include activities for example like:
- Paper plate lion-making, cookie decorating, and photo frame crafting.
- Coconut leaf origami, coconut painting, and sand art.
- Water-based fun including Marco Polo in the pool, water balloon piñatas and supervised swim sessions.
- Nature rides, treasure and scavenger hunts, football
- Creative games like Uno challenges, colourful tree making, and cinema time.

The best part of a island holiday is doing as much, or as little as you and your family enjoy. The resort is vast so getting around is made easy – you can order a buggy via your butler, or explore the island at your own pace with the complimentary bicycles (including child seats) that are perfect for family rides along sandy paths – and, a must if you are far out in an Ocean villa. They even come with a name ‘number plate’. Why not finish up a bicycle ride with a gourmet sandbank picnic – part of the Dine by Design packages.
Keep the kids busy with activities including: cooking classes, educational island treasure hunts, and eco golf sunset jetty driving range. For those who want to enjoy the water (read more below) but don’t want to get wet, or for younger children a semi-submarine explorations is just the ticket – the large windows allow you to view the kaleidoscopic coral reefs and diverse marine life below.

Speaking of the ELE|NA Elements of Nature Spa – not only do you get daily treatment included in your RESERVE package (like the Coral Calm Massage – a slow, nurturing massage with aromatic oils focussed on back, shoulders and scalp), you can book in for guided meditation, tai chi, island jogging, face mapping and sound healing. The spa has recently started using the luxury, organic brand Voya from Ireland.
GOOD TO KNOW: The spa welcomes young adults aged 12+ to indulge in age-appropriate treatments and access the facilities, meaning teens can enjoy a little indulgence alongside their parents.

5... And, water based fun for toddlers to teens
The ocean isn’t of course just a backdrop to your island adventure – it’s the main event for water babes. The island’s spectacular house reef, encircling nearly the entire shoreline, means you’re never far from a snorkelling adventure – as the shallow waters make it ideal for those who have never snorkelled before or for beginners (Junior can absolutely recommend this as our editor – has much to her own embarrassment – has never had the confidence to snorkel ever, and did it here for the first time!)
More curious explorers the resort’s five-star PADI-certified Best Dives Centre offers professional courses, certifications, and private guided expeditions. Guests can explore some of the region’s rare coral reefs, weave through ocean caves, discover exotic marine life, and may even encounters sea turtles, manta rays, stingrays and on rare occasions, whale sharks.
The complimentary non-motorised water sports include kayaking, pedal boating, stand-up paddle boarding, catamaran sailing, and windsurfing – all perfect for a relaxed day of family fun. Motorised options include Sea Bob, jet skiing, water skiing, wakeboarding, fun tubes, banana boat rides, and flyboarding.
If you don’t have a private pool at your villa, there is of course the main pool which includes an L-shaped pool near the guest house and a 15-meter lap pool. If however you do have a pool you may want to indugle in a Floating Breakfast – it will honestly blow kids mind that they can have food in the pool (although you may want to limit the pastries!). A vast tray of pastries, fruits, cold cuts, options like like smoked salmon bagels and overnight oats are hand delivered to your pool by your butler. An Instagram/TikTok/Snapchat -worthy start to everyones day.
