Tall Stories, the Olivier Award-nominated producers of The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom live, have done it again with this fantastic stage version of the much loved Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler book, The Snail and the Whale.

Not a page by page reinterpretation of the book, this is a wonderfully observed, funny and often touching portrayal of a young girl and her seafaring father whose favourite story to read together is The Snail on the Whale. Following the rhyme of the book, the audience watch as father and daughter re-enact the snail's journey and brave mission. Oh, and there are water pistols squirted at the audience much to the delight of the kids!

WHAT: Oi Frog and Friends

WHERE: Lyric Theatre, 29 Shaftesbury Avenue, London

WHEN: 29 November 2019 - 5 January 2020

For children age 3+

This new stage show Oi Frog & Friends! based on Kes Gray and Jim Field’s bestselling and award-winning picture books Oi Frog!, Oi Dog!, Oi Cat! and Oi Duck-billed Platypus! is a complete joy for young children (and adults) who love the simple but oh-so-satisfying business of rhyming. ‘Cats sit on mats, hares sit on chairs, mules sit on stools, gophers sit on sofas and frogs sit on logs’ is just the tip of the rhyming iceberg. Annoyingly we can't think of anything that rhymes with iceberg and there are lots of hilarious moments for children to join in with. An ideal introduction to theatre and the perfect entertainment for families who want to keep fidgety 3 year olds entertained.
