There was more than a hint of Italian elegance at the Miss Blumarine show: summer dresses were decorated with bows, hydrangeas and lace trims, punctuated with flashes of sunshine yellow and heart prints. Of course, being designed by Anna Molinari, there were embellishments – beading featured on cropped jackets, pearls were strung around waistbands and diamante and the ‘B’ branding was placed upon a host of bows, tops and bags. Standout pieces included a short-sleeved cotton jacket with crotched detailing and a prairie-style dress with beautiful French-style trims and intricate beading.
