Who can even wait for Mary Poppins Returns to land (with a perfectly poised magical flying umbrella) into cinemas this December? Opening on the 21st this sequel to the 1964 Disney Classic sees Emily Blunt in the role made infamous by Julie Andrews.This modern day follow-up sees everyone's favorite magical nanny, well, return to help the now grown-up Jane and Michael Banks (the children from the original movie) with the next generation of Banks children - and, is said to be a much closer interpretation of the character created in the novels by P. L Travers.

An indulgent trip down memory lane as you are immediately immersed in Mary Poppins authors P.L. Travers imaginary world with this exciting new afternoon tea.

From the gilt gold framed mirror menu to symbolise Mary’s ‘practically perfect’ reflection and the umbrella topped and silver booted bottomed cake stand stacked with traditional finger sandwiches, crumpets, Mrs Brill’s homemade scones with jam and clotted cream and black ‘Cherry Tree Lane’ mousse no less - this is a tea not to be missed.

We love the kite that flies from the glass of bubbles where adult diners can choose to add a spoonful of ‘medicine’ - a choice of three homemade liqueurs to their glass. 2. Mecure Supercalifragilistic Film Package, Hyde Park

3. Fizz, Bang, Pop! and Snow Globe Photo Booth at Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge

Experience the whimsical world of 1930s London as Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge celebrate Mary Poppins Returns with it's Fizz Bang Pop! experience. The flagship store has been transformed into a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious wonderland complete with a life-sized giant snow globe.

Guests can step inside the snow globe and have a photo taken against a backdrop of 17 Cherry Tree Lane, the house in which the Banks family live, - as well as take in four costumes on display in the store windows designed by Academy Award-winning designer Sandy Powell, as you fly-by be sure to take in the twinkling cherry trees that arch over the escalators and burst through floors and ceilings that then lead you to the fifth floor cafe where a gold and silver umbrella-strewn canopy awaits.

Not strictly a full on Mary Poppins Themed Tea but most definitely taking inspiration from the magical vintage fairground scene from the original movie - a nod to the iconic nanny will see you spot carpet bags on windowsills and lace umbrellas placed on your table.

The Candy Striped Carousel Afternoon Tea invites you to hop aboard with some joyful and original sweet treats such as The Spinning Top (a banana and passion fruit compote on chocolate sphere), Egg and Spoon (mini strawberry and rose flavoured cheese cakes on a decorative mock-chocolate spoon) and of course. a selection of traditional British sandwiches and scones.

The Milestone Hotel & Residences Practically Perfect Package in this mansion style hotel is a typical British experience inspired by Mary's iconic humour and charm - and will delight guests young and old.

Located in the heart of Kensington the magic begins the minute you step into the hotel as guests will receive a red carnation buttonhole, just like the one Mr. Banks wore on his lapel in the original Disney film. Mary Poppins the Musical at the Prince Edward Theatre (Autumn 2019)

Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed stage musical Mary Poppins made its world premiere at the Prince Edward Theatre in 2004 and is set to make a jolly welcome return as Mary floats back into the West End in Autumn 2019.

Set to star West End favourites Zizi Strallen and Charlie Stemp tickets will go on sale January 2019.
