Ginnie Chadwyck-Healey @ginniech00
As the former Retail Editor of British Vogue, founder of VCH Style, Telegraph Magazine columnist and mother of three, we know she will be a brilliant addition to the panel.
It's an honour to be on the judging panel, and I'm excited to see a broad range of design talent. I'll also be keeping a close eye on any forward-thinking, sustainable ideas too.

We are so thrilled that Zoey is joining our panel once again. Zoey is an award-winning writer, covering design, fashion, sustainability and family travel, contributing to titles including National Geographic, The Times, Wallpaper*, BBC Travel, Lonely Planet and of course Junior! She loves nothing more than packing up her 2 kids and taking them on fabulous adventures, which have included sleeping in Elvis' bedroom, a road-schooling RV trip across America and visiting Dolly Parton's fantastic Dollywood theme park. She is also the author of two books on Elvis Presley and vintage style.
It's such a privilege to be invited onto the judging panel for Junior magazine - a brand that's become a British institution in its own right! As a journalist, I love using the awards as a chance to become really familiar with brands and get hands-on with discovering new products.
Sergei Urban @thedadlab
Another favourite on our panel, Sergei Urban is our go-to judge when it comes to tech, toys and things that go! Sergei is host of The Dad Lab, where he demonstrates fantastic science experiments and crafts for kids with the help of his two gorgeous sons and with over 1 million followers on Instagram and 4.65 million subscribers on Youtube he’s a bit of a digital superstar! And do you know what? He is always SO unassuming and friendly!! Welcome back Sergei! It’s an honour to have you on the JDA judging team!
Mimi Dickson @mimidicksonpaintings
Please give illustrator, student nurse and former nanny Mimi Dickson AKA @mimidicksonpaintings a warm welcome to the JDA panel! Mimi creates the most beautiful miniature illustrations of classic books and stunning table-scapes that the Junior team have fallen in love with! We can’t wait to see which fantastic brands draw her talented eye.

It’s talented stylist and artist Yvadney Davis! We are extremely excited to welcome back regular JDA judge @yvadney who works with a host of amazing brands including Boden, Meri Meri and Reiss as well as collaborating on fabulous editorial shoots. Alongside her styling work, Yvadney still finds time to paint and we’re hooked on her stunning creations at @yvadneydavisart We are so thrilled to benefit from her keen eye and industry experience once again!
Tiffany Norris AKA @mummyconciergehq
A big warm welcome to Tiffany Norris AKA @mummyconciergehq Tiffany is a no-nonsense ‘Mummy concierge’, journalist and pregnancy guru, who has worked with hundreds of pregnant and new mothers, including A-List celebrities and members of the royal family. The Mummy Concierge is her educational platform which shares insights and tips around pregnancy, birth, baby kit essentials, mental health and more. She has also written a parenting book entitled ‘Secrets of The Mummy Concierge” bringing parenting advice as well as an insight into her own personal life as a mother to a wider audience. Tiffany also has a Level 3 qualification in Child Behaviour. We can’t wait to see what this parenting guru makes of our Junior Design Award entries!
Margherita Hunt and Mooi Ginsburg @shopmaison_m
We are so excited to welcome the exquisitely stylish duo behind slow fashion and lifestyle brand @shopmaison_m to the JDA panel! Friends Margherita Hunt and Mooi Ginsburg, founded Maison M in 2017 and are known for their eclectic mix of artisan made and vintage clothing and homewares. Sourcing their stock locally and worldwide with an emphasis on sustainability, they are expert treasure hunters and we can’t wait to see what they discover at the Junior Design Awards!
We both have young children and love design so actively follow new, up and coming child focused design brands. We're both honoured and excited to be on the judging panel this year. We love that Junior showcases the best of child/family focused design and is both informative and inspirational.

We are delighted to welcome children’s fashion photographer, travel writer and photojournalist Abi Campbell back onto the #JDA panel! @abicampbellphotography is a mother of 2 and is Fashion Editor at Family Traveller Magazine as well as Creative Director at @newkidscreative who specialise in brand consultancy and production. As an established children’s fashion photographer she works with some of the biggest and best brands in childrenswear as well as a selection of more niche and fledgling brands that really inspire her and need a little creative magic to unleash their full potential. Thank you for casting your eye for talent over this year’s JDA shortlist Abi!
The Junior Design Awards are extremely prestigious. Winning this accolade that carries such weight within the industry is a real badge of honour. To be asked to be a judge amongst such esteemed company is always a pleasure.

We are so excited to welcome children’s author, Sara Davis Smith @sara_davis_smith to the JDA judging panel! As well as penning her fabulous Willow & Scruff series, Sara is mum to two adorable girls and spends as much time as she can immersing herself in nature with her dog and ponies in Brighton. Sonia has incredible knowledge of the beauty and wellness industry and as a mum of two small boys she has the inside track on what parents really need to make life easier. We can’t wait to see what gets Sonia scribbling in her notebook at this year’s JDAs!
Nicola Eyre @cissywears
We could not be more excited that @cissywears founder and Creative Director, Nicola Eyre is joining the JDA panel this year! Cissy Wears is an internationally acclaimed children’s fashion and design retailer and both the site and store are packed full of the most knee-weakening design-led products for the modern family. Step into the London based concept store in Coals Drop Yard and you will immediately recognise what a talented eye Nicola has. We feel extremely fortunate that she will be bringing her expert knowledge to the awards!
I have always been a huge fan of the Junior Design Awards. It's shone a light on some of the best talent in the industry over the years, and I am delighted to now be a judge.

We are so excited to welcome Emma Donnelly AKA @takeapicturelady to the JDA panel! Emma is a photographer and art director working in the fashion industry with a focus on childrenswear as well as lifestyle and womenswear. A mother of two teens, Emma also co-owns a restaurant with her husband! When I’m not taking images and editing, I’m thinking of food and running the business. And when I’m not doing that, I’m doing a thousand other things as a mother. :) I enjoy creating images and content to help brands build their identity and working with them to understand more about their design process and the intrinsic details behind running a fashion brand. My work gives me the opportunity to travel and work in some beautiful locations for which I am very grateful. Having had two children and a close eye on design I am conscious of quality and creativity and how the two work together to create the best products.

A very warm welcome to creator, crafter and author Sydney Piercey! @sydney.piercey lives in Provence with her three daughters aged 4, 2 and 10 months and is passionate about re-use, creativity and pursuing a slower, more sustainable life. Known online for creating toys for her children from cardboard, she has been featured on The Frugality, Domino Magazine, Rêve En Vert and My Modern Met magazine. Sydney’s first book, Sustainable Play: 60+ crafts and games for an Earth – kind home was published in May 2022 by Quercus books. Congratulations Sydney and thank you for joining us!

We are more than do-a-little-dance excited to welcome baby and kids stylist, Charlotte Kewley back to the JDA panel! Charlotte has almost 20 years experience in the fashion industry and curates a wonderful Instagram account @thelittlestylist where she shares the best kids fashion finds from the high street and beyond. Charlotte recently left London for the countryside where she lives with her husband and 3 children aged 7, 5 and 1. We’re so thrilled she’s back to share her fantastic knowledge and passion for children’s design with us.
I’m delighted to be returning to the judging panel for the prestigious Junior Awards. I had so much fun checking out all of the new brands and products last year so very excited to do it all again!

After studying fashion at Central Saint Martins, Frankie has worked as a fashion editor and journalist for the past decade, writing for national titles including The Telegraph, The Times, The Independent, Harper's Bazaar, Grazia, Glamour and YOU Magazine. She is co-host of The Wingwoman Podcast and content director for Wardrobe Icons so naturally she has fabulous taste and a canny eye for a design hero.Thank you Frankie! We can’t wait!

With 20 years of experience in the fashion industry working with brands and publications like Boden, Next, Red Magazine and Milk Magazine, not to mention two daughters to dress, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a seriously stylish eye to the proceedings. She’s back! Ray of sunshine, mother, model and mixologist Portia Freeman @portiaportiaaaa returns to the JDA panel to lend us her innately stylish eye and hopefully a few post judging cocktails. Portia is mum to Dylan and Rudie and keeps us endlessly entertained with her candid Instagram feed documenting family life, cotton candy hair and fabulous outfits. We’re hooked on her regular Friday ‘Portia’s Happy Hour’ slot where she whips up the most delicious cocktails and mocktails with lots of fab celeb guests. Thank you for joining us again Portia!

You may already know photo stylist and artist Charlotte from her brilliant Instagram account @charlottelovely which is a must follow for anyone who loves a friendly face! Mum of two, Charlotte specialises in set design, prop making and art direction, working with children’s brands for editorial and advertising and we can’t wait to see which products she connects with on our judging days!

Yay! We’re SO excited to welcome Jakki Jones aka @jakkidoodles to the JDA judging panel! Jakki is an artist and Talent Producer who works with an amazing portfolio of celebrities, influencers and brands. Outside of Showbiz, she’s a rather keen doodler and has a brilliant card and gift business called Jakki Doodles, with illustrations that always make us smile!

What @mscharliejolly doesn’t know about beauty could be written on a Q-tip (in eyeliner) and her two gorgeous daughters have given her great hands-on knowledge about kids skincare and wellness. We can’t wait for a coffee and a beauty catch up with this one!

This year we welcome the brilliant Catherine Buttigieg who runs the bright and beautiful @me_and_my_butts account back to the panel. Cat lives in Melbourne, Australia and has three gorgeous children who love to dress up in a kaleidoscope of amazing colours and stylish ensembles that we can’t get enough of! Cat has a Bachelor in Visual Arts and Honours in Fine Arts Weaving. She works closely with children's brands and has shot several look-books and had her photos published in magazines all around the world including InStyle and British Vogue.

We are so thrilled that the wonderful @pepper.pics is joining our team of digital judges again. This mother and daughter duo are back for the third year in a row and we are always so grateful for their astute and enthusiastic comments.
