WINNER: GOLD BEST UNISEX FASHION COLLECTION
WHO: Claude & Co Unisex Clothing
WHAT: A non-seasonal, unisex fashion brand for 0-4 years, featuring bold stripes, block colours, simple cuts and witty slogans that are brilliantly cool and funny. This year the label has launched their Part Of Something Sweaters, which donate £5 from every sale to the Meningitis Research Foundation which has close family significance to the founder.
WHY: This brand really resonated with our judges who loved the cheeky slogans (Milking it!) paired with soft cotton separates and traditional silhouettes brought up to date with bold grass green stripes. Time and time again, individual judges would pull out the pieces from this collection and call across the judging room “Have you seen this?!” The comments below sum up the love for the brand:

WINNER: GOLD BEST UNISEX FASHION COLLECTION
WHO: Tobias & the Bear X Miffy
WHAT: The second Miffy themed collection from organic and ethically produced baby and childrenswear company Tobias & the Bear. The collection comprises of twelve wardrobe and bedding pieces all decorated with the iconic bunny in a range of gorgeous colours that have nothing to do with gender but everything to do with looking super cute and very cool.
WHY: Tobias and the Bear have got this collaboration pitch perfect, taking Dick Bruna’s iconic bunny into the world of kids’ fashion and somehow making those whiskers and ears look cuter than ever. Our judges loved the range of non-traditional baby colours including a sumptuous ‘Nearly Black’ and TATB’s very own shade ‘Milky Mouse’. The clever use of scale, silhouette and design was also noted. WHY: Our judges were delighted that Albie and Sebastian have declared Leopard print a gender free motif! Their range of classic leopard prints turn cotton basics into something very special and we loved the option of twinning with your kids in matching Albie & Sebastian sweatshirts.

WHO: Cribstar Unisex Collection
WHAT: An ethically made, unisex clothing collection for 0-8 year olds made using only the highest quality certified fabrics. Cool prints, soft cotton and contemporary silhouettes give this brand a slight rock star or should we say crib star vibe.
WHY: Our judges loved this range which has a very distinctive, free spirited feel that makes it stand way out from the crowd. Their super cute collaboration with The Gruffalo has rendered this household favourite cool and fresh. The line drawing motifs on neutral separates with flashes of leopard print, monochrome and cheeky slogans give the whole collection a wonderfully rebellious feel. Our judges commented:

WINNER: BRONZE BEST UNISEX FASHION COLLECTION
WHO: Cublife Clothing
WHAT: Designed by young mum Emily Southern, who wanted to create simple, high quality, gender neutral clothing to fill a gap in the market and to provide an antidote to all the stereotypes linked with children’s fashion.
WHY: First of all, our judges just could’t believe that this very polished collection of separates was started by one entrepreneurial mum with a budget of just £200. Incredible. Second of all, they absolutely loved the neutral colours, witty slogans and designs that make these clothes brilliant playground conversation starters and great fashion statement pieces.
