WHY: The popularity of this brand is reflected in the Judges’ comments, which are a glowing endorsement of everything this highly creative French family business has achieved. The sheer breadth of beautiful games, stationery and toys available from this brand means there truly is something for every child and our panel all commented on the beautiful, artistic packaging, presentation and content of all these games, that have still a hand finished feel in spite of their now global presence. Our JDA judges felt that this was a toy brand with real integrity that had stayed true to its original ethos to place illustration and innovation at the heart of what they do and keeping the magic of childhood in mind at all times.

Djeco is my absolute go to for games and craft kits. So many different options that keep the kids entertained for hours and really good quality. The kits never fail to turn out beautifully either!

Very clever product that I can imagine will inspire imaginations!

Before you even get to the toys, you are delighted by the charming packaging design, everything feels really special and there is always an element of learning too.

WHAT: The WIWIURKA XXL Rocker Board

WHY: This beautifully made slatted rocker board that comes in stunning rainbow stripes or beautiful neutral wood really excited our judges who loved the long term use and versatility of this product. The panel could see that this rocker would provide kids with a prop to stimulate plenty of imagination driven games as well as being great for improving balance and gross motor development when used as a rocker. The hand finished, small scale production and sustainability of this brand really impressed and everyone agreed that they would love to have this beautiful looking toy in their home.

These are such a great, fun and versatile product for kids! Rock, climb, use as a shop front etc etc. I particularly love the rainbow one!

WHAT: Matchstick Monkey Teething Toys and Teething Starter Sets
WHY: These brightly coloured, easy to grip, pleasure to chew, teething toys have been keeping babies’ gums happy since 2015, but they’re so iconic, it feels as if they have been with us for so much longer!Our judges all had great affection for this brand and many of them had given the teethers to their own babies and were excited to see new additions to the range, including handy silicone Finger Toothbrushes and a very cute looking Flat Face Teether. Over all, the JDA judges thought this brand produced extremely effective teethers that double up as fun toys that gives babies the real satisfaction of having something to grip onto and the joy of a friendly face to look at!

So many great points about this teether. I love that everything has been really well thought through from a real Mum's point of view. The anti microbial protection, non toxic silicone and that it seems to be ideal for babies to chew it at all angles!

When my kids were babies they absolutely loved these!

Love the breadth of colour, these are iconic and a must-have for babies.
