WHY: The baby brand known for its iconic, super soft muslins has expanded into the baby playtime category with huge success and this latest addition was extremely popular with our judges. This seat was applauded for its good looks that would fit into any décor scheme and it’s versatility and comfort. The easy transition from bouncer to rocker to seat mode, offering three different ways to entertain and relax babies as they grow into toddlers, was something that all our parent judges felt would be hugely helpful in the home, and the fact that the seat folds up for easy storage was a huge hit.

Gorgeous to look at and lots of fun to use. The sensory toy bar, soft muslin finish and sheer versatility of this product, make it a fantastic buy.

A very exciting new product. I love how compact it is too.
Charlotte Kewley, Children’s Stylist and mother of three
A really brilliant way of extending the life of the much loved baby bouncer. I can imagine lots of toddlers loving their own special seat that they can carry on using well past the reclining phase.

WHO: Shnuggle
WHAT: The Shnuggle Pebble Bath Thermometer

WHY: When there is so much baby equipment to accommodate in your home, why not make it look beautiful? Our judges felt that this bath thermometer design was the perfect marriage of function and form giving parents a stylish, tactile object that would not only perform the very important task of testing the bath water temperature but would also look great in any bathroom. The panel loved the simple, easy to use pebble which you just shake to wake, meaning no complicated fiddling about when you’ve got your hands full with baby and need to get a move on.

WINNER OF BEST PRODUCT DESIGN FOR BABIES: JOINT BRONZE

WHO: Bumbo
WHAT: Bumbo Changing Pad

WHY: Our judges were very impressed with this changing mat that boasts an ergonomically shaped pad, made from a high-quality foam that is never cold to touch and always soft and welcoming. The easy to clean, contoured shape and high sides of this mat also ticked boxes with our parent judges who know how wriggly babies can be when their nappies are being changed. Another factor that scored highly with the panel was the robust feel of the foam pad which judges felt would be tough enough to withstand months of wear and tear unlike many other traditional mats.

The strap is great addition and the colour options are lovely.
Charlotte Kewley, Children’s Stylist and mother of three
A brilliant change mat that will last through several babies at least and makes comfort a priority.
