WHAT: Sleepyhead are multi-use baby pods finished in a stunning array of modern prints that tie in with the company's ethos that families should never compromise style over function.

WHY: Our judges loved this latest collection from Sleepyhead Deluxe+ and were particularly excited by the rich leaf designs, floral prints and zebra prints that tie in so well with current interiors trends and modern nursery design. Gabrielle Sprang (founder of Scandi Mini, the online destination for style coniousis parents who love individual design) said "The prints are just gorgeous." And, new mum Holly Anna Scarsella (from Pampelone) said "Loved mine. Took it everywhere! Great designs too and easy to wash."

WHO: MAMA DESIGNS CELLULAR BLANKETS

WHAT: Modern cellular blankets, made from soft chunky cotton featuring the classic cell like construction that allows air to circulate making them the safest blankets for babies. Available in a range of colours with a contrasting trim.

WHY: Our judges loved thefact that this company have added a playful twist to a classic and super practical product by replacing the traditional satin trimmed, white or pastel blanket with cool slate grey and pops of gorgeous colour. Mama Design's cellular blankets have fast become a cult product and the company have some new designs planned to celebrate their 10th Anniversary later this year but our judging was based on these gems. Chloe Thurston (from Uberkid) said "Cellular blankets always remind me of my childhood!" Us too, Chloe!

WINNER: BRONZE FOR BEST PRODUCT DESIGN FOR BABIES

WHO: SHNUGGLE WISHY BATH TOY

WHAT: Wishy is a 3-in-1 textured light up bath toy that can be used to pour, drizzle and scoop for fun bathtimes from birth and beyond.

WHY: This is a lovely gentle introduction to bath toys and our judges felt that it would calm babies who aren't a huge fan of the water. The 3-pieces of the Snuggle Wishy are designed to be pulled apart so that bathers can have fun scooping, pouring or creating rainfall. It floats, has a sensory light and stimulates newborn babies as they focus on the light or the feel of a gentle drizzle of water. Zoe de Pass from Dress Like A Mum said "This looks like fun for bath times."
