WHY: Occasionally there’s a landslide victory in a category and we have to say The Middle Daughter caused the equivalent of a style avalanche amongst our judges! This collection of show-stopping structural dresses and softer jersey pieces, featuring bold blocks of colour and in-house designed prints, really wowed the panel with their quality and sheer originality. The Middle Daughter told us that they wanted to connect the dots between kidswear and womenswear in both style and quality and we think they have definitely met their goal and more. The panel loved the delicious colour combinations, the comfort and wearability of the pieces - no matter how striking - and enjoyed the way the whole collection worked together to create a dream wardrobe of mix and match pieces. The Middle Daughter’s emphasis on quality and the welfare of their workers was also applauded. Congratulations on a Platinum JDA winning collection The Middle Daughter!

Just wow. Exceptional. These pieces are each like works of art. I feel like they’re in a league of their own!

Always so gorgeous, The Middle Daugher’s clothes are dreamy. I want them all in my size. They remind me of vintage Biba or Ossy Clarke. Adore!
