WHO: Forivor
WHAT: Forivor -The Enchanted Forest Quilted Blanket
WHY: These generous reversible quilts took our breath away with their exquisitely drawn, scenes inspired by nature and fairytales of yore. The intricate details and dreamlike illustrations that cleverly segue from a tranquil woodland scene by day to an exciting enchanted forest by night, caused much excitement amongst our judges who loved the choice of two colourways and moods in one blanket. The panel agreed that the bustling animals in their burrows, a Pegasus poised with wings aloft and the most beautifully observed flora and fauna would inspire magical bed time stories and a strong affinity with nature from an early age. We were also very happy to learn that Forivor only use ethical and sustainably sourced organic materials and biodegradable packaging. The handy zippable case that each blanket comes in as well as a set of cards that encourage children to explore and understand the world around them, added to the sense that this was a very special quilt that could be stored and handed down through generations. Beautiful.
These quilts are works of art and are made with so much love for children and the planet.
The next best thing to sleeping under the stars in an actual enchanted forest. Truly magical.

WHO: The Gilded Bird
WHAT: The Gilded Bird Organic Cotton Fitted Sheet and Duvet Covers
WHY: These beautifully packaged bed linens really impressed our judges who absolutely loved the fresh original prints that enable parents to completely refresh a nursery with the change of a sheet! The fitted sheets in particular were a huge hit with our parent judges who loved the soft feel, the quality and the way they hugged the mattress so smoothly. The team who made up a cotbed for display confirmed that these linens were extremely easy to fit onto the mattress in the first place. One less struggle when changing the bed linen!

Completely up my street. I would have loved these for my daughter when she was a baby.
The quality of these was superb and so nice to see such fun - and crucially - tasteful prints!

WHAT: Pea To the Moon Bedding Collection
WHY: Lots of our judges knew kids who would absolutely love these space themed duvet and pillowcase sets, designed to turn beds into mini launchpads for imaginations and dreams! The clean graphic imagery of a sleeping moon and tiny astronauts really appealed to our panel as did the reversible aspect of the duvet covers, which flip to reveal a constellation of planets and stars. As with all Pea collections, there are also accompanying prints and accessories available that complement the intergalactic theme and these were also much admired.

WHO: Bibu
WHAT: Bibu cushions, bedding, blankets, towels, print collections
WHY: Spanish brand Bibu presented an extremely strong collection in a very strong category and our judges loved the sense of fun and the fab quality of their pieces. Animal shaped cushions in bright colours, blankets featuring bold animal designs and fabulous bed linen featuring tasteful prints of dinosaurs that even design snobs would love, as well as gorgeous textured linen duvet sets with piped edging, really impressed the panel. We also loved the fact that Bibu take such a strong ethical stance promoting circular economy principles through sustainable practices, recycled materials, local production and giving back. Definitely a brand we love and a brand to watch.

I just loved the joyful feel of this collection and I was particularly impressed by the bed linen which was beautifully designed and made.
So much choice here and I love the bold unisex designs that would look fabulous in any nursery.

WHO: Pipsqueak
WHAT: ‘Stardust’ Single Duvet Set
WHY: These sweet, hand printed duvet sets really appealed to our judges who loved the whimsical feel of scattered stars on fresh white cotton. Our judges felt that this design would work just as well for little children as it would for older kids and would be an enduring favourite for many years. A beautiful thoughtful brand made by hand and with fabulous attention to detail.
A pretty, neutral set.
I'm super impressed that Pipsqueak founder Chrissy Crozier, hand prints all these cover sets herself! The finish is fantastic and the designs she produces are so charming.
