WHO: DockATot X William Morris & Co.
WHAT: Multifunction pod, moses basket and children’s play accessories brand DockATot has designed a collection of products and accessories in collaboration with the archive gems of Morris & Co. the Arts & Crafts design house, renowned for timeless nature-inspired fabrics and furnishings.
WHY: This collaboration between the contemporary nursery design company DockATot and the classic prints of Morris & Co is an unexpected match made in heaven. The world of children’s interiors is taken to a whole new opulent level with stunning maximal prints that decorate everything from moses baskets to stunning teepees and floor cushions. The quality is incredible – our judges were astounded by the sumptuous floor cushions and the immaculate finishes, agreeing that William Morris’ famous quote “Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” could not be more apt.

JUNIOR DESIGN AWARDS 2020 BRONZE WINNER: Best Interiors Product Design (Soft Furnishings)
WHO: Forivor – The Space Above the Ground Collection
WHAT: An organic cotton, nature inspired reversible quilt featuring magical hand painted scenes on each side to stimulate conversation, imaginations and dreams. Accompanied by an illustrated story book featuring the wildlife in the design, exploring themes of metamorphosis, bird migration, pollination and the cosmos.
WHY: This quilt is the stuff that dreams are made of – quite literally. The stunning illustrations that grace each side are epic in scale and detail and really are something different and special in what can sometimes feel like a sea of sameness. The designers wanted to create a safe-haven for storytelling, with magical creatures as nighttime companions and our judges all felt that this aim was more than met.
