WINNER: PLATINUM BEST INTERIORS PRODUCT DESIGN (ACCESSORY)
WHO: Artisanne Alibaba Baskets
WHAT: Made by highly skilled, women weavers in remote villages in Senegal from sustainable ndiorokh grasses and strips of repurposed plastic, these beautiful, sustainably made baskets are ideal for storage in nurseries and children’s bedrooms. These classic baskets with pops of colour are available in four sizes and fifteen colourways and are incredibly robust.
WHY: These handmade baskets were deemed things of beauty by our judges who all loved their satisfying shapes all topped off with a conical lid. Perfect for storing anything from clothes to toys, it was agreed they would look fantastic in any room of the house. Our panel was also impressed with the care and attention that Artisanne provide their female workers, paying them directly and giving 10% of all profits to an initiative that ensures their children no longer have to walk 10km every day to and from school in 40c heat. Our judges commented:

Gorgeous quality and I absolutely love, love, love that it follows the trend that toy storage for kids doesn't have to be covered in hippos and bears! It's wonderful to buy pieces that grow with the kids and can sit in any room quite happily! Beautiful! Just utterly beautiful!

WHAT: 100% pure cotton canvas drawstring bags handmade in the UK and designed to hold vast quantities of toys and then spread out flat. Once fully opened and flat on the floor, toys are easily accessible and the rim running around the entire edge of the bag means that the contents can be spread out without spilling and can be rummaged through by kids to their heart’s content. Perfect for storing toys made up of lots of small pieces like Lego and Playmobil.
WHY: These bags are a genius invention, not only do they make the storage of tiny toys a doddle but they make tidying up these toys hassle free. The bags unfold to create what is essentially a play mat with a lip that stops them spilling all over the carpet meaning less chance of treading on sole piercing building blocks and less crazy clutter. Our judges were super impressed…
This is one of the most useful products!!!
If I only I could explain how much this has changed out storage issues. No longer are toys shoved in the bottom of a toy chest/box, never found and barely played with. With these bags the kids can see everything and play with everything! Absolutely fantastic! We'll be getting one for our summer holiday so that we can load all of their beach toys into it.
Such a neat concept for tidying away children's toys and nick nacks.

WHO: Sleepyhead Deluxe+ The Mediterraneo Collection
WHAT: The Mediterraneo collection is the latest selection of interiors lead cover designs for the Sleepyhead Deluxe + baby sleep pod inspired by Hellenic classical patterns, Portuguese tiles and the French classic mariner stripes.
WHY: Our judges loved these meditteranean themed designs on this now iconic baby product and were really impressed with the range of styles available so that parents really feel they can personalise their baby’s space and choose something that really compliments their home. With classic stripes, pared back checks and more eclectic, maximalist prints, the panel felt there was something to suit every taste and wrote in their notes:

One of the most game-changing products on the market.
This is essential. I repeat essential. If there was a product that would prompt me to have more children it would be this one. Not just a life saver to a baby (and parent of a baby) who needs to be held 24/7 it's also incredibly beautiful with all of the covers that are available.

WINNER: BRONZE BEST INTERIORS PRODUCT DESIGN (ACCESSORY)
WHO: Forivor Legends of the Sea Bedding
WHAT: A luxurious bedding set made from soft organic cotton and inspired by British marine wildlife. The duvet cover and pillow feature two different, beautifully illustrated seascapes brimming with marine wildlife on each side and come with a set of fact and story cue cards about the creatures on the covers.
WHY: These magical bed clothes really caused a stir on the JDA19 judging days, standing out for their originality and imagination stimulating beauty. Our judges felt that children would love these intricately printed marine scenes and that they would really inspire story telling, a deeper appreciation of nature and sweet dreams. Members of the panel commented:
Exquisite. That would be the one word I would use for this. It's not just a quilt, it's a breathtaking piece of artwork that sparks the imagination and I absolutely image will be handed down through generations
