WHAT: The 'Anna' Front Lying Pregnancy Pillow
WHY: Ask a pregnant woman what she misses most and the answer might be sushi, it could be soft cheese but it’s often simply the ability to lie on their front! Our panel was super impressed with this design that allows mothers to do just this all the way through their pregnancy and were fascinated to learn that lying on your front with your bump completely supported not only relieves the pressure felt on your hips, back & joints, but also has a range of medical proven benefits such as increased placenta performance and assisting with optimal foetal positioning. The judges loved this lightweight moulded foam cushion that they felt would be of benefit to so many women and the added bonus that it can be used as a baby pod when those nine months are up.
I had a friend who always complained she couldn't lie on her front during pregnancy so I think there is a definite market for a pillow that aids women with this!

WHAT: Love Radius Parent’s Hoodie
WHY: This is Such a simple, brilliant idea that all our judges were really excited about. A beautifully made, generous hoodie that has been designed to accommodate a growing bump, zip up over a baby carrier and then when all the baby carrying is done, thanks to some cleverly concealed zips, it reverts back to a normal hoodie again. Our judges gave this top marks for innovation, versatility and longevity and everyone was particularly enthusiastic about the idea of a hoodie that zips up over your baby sling, creating a lovely warm cocoon. Brilliant!
Such a simple but brilliant idea. I am sure there are many parents who will love this multi-functional hoodie that makes child carrying so much cosier!

WHAT: Vital Baby NURTURE advance pro UV steriliser & dryer
WHY: This steam free, water free steriliser really excited our judges who loved the idea of a super quick and easy way to clean feeding equipment and toys, without having to wait for a traditional steriliser to heat up and then cool down again. Proven to be an effective way to kill 99.99% of bacteria, mould and viruses without the use of chemicals, water or heat the panel felt that this was a piece of equipment that would earn its keep in no time, especially as its compact shape makes it so easy to store. The realisation that this device can be used to sterilise not only bottles, teats, soothers, toys and breast pumps, but everyday items like mobile phones, keys and cosmetic brushes too, made this product even more appealing.
At a time when hygiene is more important than ever, this steriliser will not only clean vital baby equipment but keeps those household items that babies and toddlers like to play with germ free too.
I was always scalding myself on our steam steriliser and could never get the bottles out fast enough so this sounds like a brilliant, speedy and fuss free alternative.

WHAT: Axkid ONE ISOFIX car seat
WHY: Our judges had never seen a car seat like this before and were blown away by the fact that it allows rear-facing travel up to approximately 7 years of age! Travelling rear-facing has been proved to be up to 5 times safer for children all the way up to 6-7 years of age so this really is a fantastic innovation in the car seat market. The panel were also impressed by the lightweight, easy to manoeuvre feel of this seat, which is designed to be installed in 30 seconds (that has to be a record) and the unique anti rotation bar that gives more legroom than other rear-facing seats on the market.
Such a fantastic car seat for parents who want the reassurance of rear facing safety.
The quick installation time won me over!

WHAT: ClevaPure Salt Lamp and Humidifier
WHY: Lots of our parent judges were very interested in this cute looking nightlight that does so much more than create a warm and reassuring glow. As well being a nightlight, this product can also be used as a humidifier, an air purifier and an aromatherapy diffuser, harnessing the health benefits of Himalayan Salts to purify air and help create optimum conditions for a good night’s sleep. The humidifier also helps ease congestion, soothe sore throats and ease dry itchy skin, and our panel really liked the fact that you can add essential oils to this humidifier to really aid relaxation and sleep.
A wonderful multi-tasking product that will make a real difference on sleepless, stuffy nights.
I would quite like one of these in my room let alone the baby’s!
