WHO: Rockit Portable Baby Rocker

WHAT: A portable baby rocker that fits any pram or pushchair. It creates a gentle rocking motion soothing babies to sleep even when the buggy is stationary so parents can enjoy a coffee break and babies can enjoy undisturbed nap time.

WHY: How many parents have dreamed of finding a way to keep their buggy moving while they sit down for a well earned cup of tea or even to get some work done? We have to say a huge thank you to Rockit inventor Dr Nick Webb who has a PhD in Sound and Vibration Engineering who noticed his three month-old daughter Abby would wake as soon as the buggy stopped rolling and decided to invent this genius product! Our judges who are all parents were so excited by this invention, knowing only too well what a life-changing effect it could have for parents who just need five more minutes! We feel a knighthood or keys to the city would be appropriate here but hopefully a Gold JDA19 is even better recognition! Our judges said:

Brilliant : )

This would be an absolute godsend for babies that wake easily when not rocked! Would have been well worth the £40 when my daughter was a baby!

Easy to fold up, bring along or store away it includes a play mat, rattles, mirrors, crinkle sounds, tags, shapes and textures. The mat and the arch can both be used independently.

WHY: This forest green mat with gorgeous jungle print fabric animals really caught our judges’ attention. They loved the subtle soothing colours and the fact that this is a plastic free design that won’t dominate any space that it sits in. The clever self supporting arch design was also much applauded as was the fact that it can be folded up and has handles for extra portability. Our judges wrote in their notes:

Great product, love the unisex design, love the no primary colour prints and great that it's all moveable.

This is the most gorgeous play arch. We were able to witness little Cosmo playing in this for an age and he was absolutely captivated. It's stunning quality and really very beautiful.
