WINNER OF BEST INNOVATIVE PRODUCT DESIGN (for Baby/Child): JOINT GOLD

WHO: We Might Be Tiny
WHAT: We Might Be Tiny Freeze & Bake Poddies
WHY: The sheer versatility of this product really impressed our judges who loved the idea of a one-stop tray for baking and freezing! These easy to pop in and pop out silicone moulds looked like they would be perfect for baking muffins and cakes or for freezing mini portions of baby food or even mega fun ice cubes. So many options! The easy to clean, easy to use silicone and the clear lid all scored highly but it was We Might Be Tiny’s signature super cute animal shapes that stole the show.

WINNER OF BEST INNOVATIVE PRODUCT DESIGN (for Baby/Child): JOINT GOLD

WHO: Carry-on Piano
WHAT: Carry-on Piano 88 key and 49 key folding keyboard
WHY: All our judges got very excited about this ingenious folding piano keyboard that can be placed on any surface for kids or adults to play on. We did have a few tunes played to us by some of the more musical members of the panel! The JDA judges felt that this highly portable keyboard would not only be super fun for kids, but was especially great for anyone with limited space or for families who want the ability to travel with a full piano in their suitcase! Brilliant!

This is an excellent idea! Making piano lessons accessible to all. I love it.

pimpam

WINNER OF BEST INNOVATIVE PRODUCT DESIGN (for Baby/Child): JOINT SILVER

WHO: Pim Pam
WHAT: Pim Pam Reusable Pocket Nappy
WHY: The fresh, cute and contemporary designs on these nappies really made them stand out from the crowd and our panel were completely enamoured by the pastel abstract shapes and sausage dog motifs! Looks aside, these nappies are not only eco-friendly and cost effective but they are really built for performance with waterproof outers and two super absorbent inserts. With the glut of disposable nappies continually adding to our planet’s crippling landfill and plastic pollution problems, our judges felt these re-usable nappies provided a stylish and sustainable solution.

WINNER OF BEST INNOVATIVE PRODUCT DESIGN (for Baby/Child): JOINT SILVER

WHO: Dada&Roco
WHAT: Dada&Roco Smart Crib Bumpers
WHY: Babies knocking themselves on cot railings is a real concern for many parents and our panel felt that this was a fantastic, easy to fit solution that would make sure delicate heads didn’t go bump in the night! Praise was given for the individual foam tubes that zip on to cot spokes and not only keep baby in view but let air flow through the cot. The unobtrusive, subtle designs and colours were also a bonus.

Brilliant idea if you have a cot that they fit…

bib-HC

HIGHLY COMMENDED: Bibbilyboo

These waterproof dribble bibs are unlike any other teething bib - as they combine a series of features to prevent wet clothes, stop dribble rashes and grow with baby throughout teething. The judges loved that they didn't have that 'crinkly plastic' feel and the bigger gap between chest and chin meaning the bibs lay flat without bunching up encourage natural air drying and prevent skin irritation and rashes. Gorgeous prints too.
