WHY: This chair was praised by all of our judges who loved the choice of muted, on-trend tones or warm wooden finish, the stylish Scandi-inspired design and the fact that this high chair is foldable! Such a small detail that makes a huge difference to any family who needs to save on space or simply wants to tidy the high chair away from time to time. The range of attachments available that make this chair suitable from 0-110 kg also impressed. The brand’s ethical production values including using FSC certified wood, and attachments made from recycled fishnet also scored highly.

Absolutely love this highchair that comes in fab colours, has a chic Scandi feel and folds up flat when you’re not using it. Simple, fuss free, design at its best.

WHAT: Bugaboo Giraffe Highchair

WHY: The JDA panel was extremely impressed with this high-spec highchair that has a sleek design and premium feel. The seat was pronounced extremely comfortable by several of our baby testers and our grown-up testers loved the fact that this chair could be adjusted so swiftly and easily without the need for instructions or tools. Firmly planted on its feet, this chair felt very safe and stable and the panel felt any family would be proud to have it at the table. Easily wipeable surfaces and machine-washable pillows were much appreciated. Crafted from FSC®-certified European Beechwood with all plastic parts are made from ISCC certified bio- based materials, the panel was excited to learn that the Bugaboo Giraffe’s CO2 footprint is 61% lower than if it was made using conventional plastics.

WHAT: Bumbo Highchair

WHY: This contemporary highchair, suitable for children from 6 months to 3 years, impressed our judges who were very taken with its minimal design, easy clean surfaces, tool-free assembly and long lifespan – noting that it can be converted into a compact toddler seat. The seat felt sturdy yet comfortable and the harness seemed easy to use and secure. The fact that the Bumbo Highchair is so lightweight and easy to carry also scored well with our judges.

So great that this chair can be converted into a cute toddler chair that little ones will love to take ownership of.
