We've pulled each and every chair submitted into this awards category up to the table for a full assessment and discovered that highchairs aren't just for the early years anymore...

THE GOLD AWARD FOR BEST HIGHCHAIR DESIGN... NOMI by EVOMOVE

Good looks, ergonomics and incredible longevity have swayed the judges yet again as the Nomi by Evomove chair wins gold for the second year in a row.

This concept high chair is suitable from birth to teenage years and starts off as a cosy, reclined seat for baby to nestle in at table height, keeping them off the floor and at a convenient height for parents to keep an eye on. This means that babies can be part of meal times from day one!

The Stokke Trip Trap highchair is a cult piece of kit found at the kitchen tables of the the most stylish and practical minded families and the new Stokke Steps model is sure to follow suit.

From its pod like high comfort bouncer with unique cradling motion, to its functional highchair setting, followed by a minimal design chair that can be used throughout childhood, this is the last word in sustainability, comfort and Scandinavian style.
