WHAT: Handmade, luxury shoes for babies and toddlers with a classic meets fashion forward feel.

WHY: We’re sorry to go all basic here, BUT these tiny, mini espadrilles made us go all gooey! Our judges loved this “Enchanted Forest” themed collection of leather sandals, espadrilles and adorable Mary-Janes, which all come in unique colourways, patterns and designs that both parents and children will love. These simply cut, super soft and flexible baby shoes are just adorable and would look so pretty in first shoe photos and we love that little ones can get in on the Summer holiday spirit with gorgeous colour-block espadrilles and the sweetest leopard print sandals.

WHO: Bobux Xplorer

WHAT: Bobux Xplorers are super flexible, lightweight shoes for the cruising stage of development, designed specifically to bridge the gap between the brand’s Soft Soles and Step Up shoes. (approx. 9mths-2yrs)

WHY: These shoes designed specifically to support toddlers during the rather wobbly chapter of transitioning from cruising to walking really excited our judges who were more than familiar with this Bambi phase of child development. The stylish, sporty feel, elasticated ankle cuffs and Velcro strap closures for secure fitting were much admired and the panel really felt these shoes would help toddlers move confidently and comfortably with the added benefit of reinforced toe-caps to make sure these shoes live a long and robust life.

A brand I really trust and love - I know that my baby's feet will be comfy and protected in these shoes.

Very fashion forward details. Love the handy straps and textured soles.

WHO: Poco Nido - Mighty Shoes

WHAT: Poco Nido’s luxurious yet practical first 'proper' shoes for toddlers made with a recyclable barefoot friendly outsole and leather uppers, tanned without chrome.

WHY: These shoes were praised for their serious commitment to foot health and development as well looking ‘mighty’ cute! Do you see what we did there? The generous velcro straps and laces that keep these shoes gently but firmly on the feet were much appreciated by our parent judges. The barefoot feel of these shoes and the brand’s research into the multiple benefits of keeping developing feet free and as connected with the ground as possible also made our judges feel that this brand had a serious steak in children’s ongoing wellbeing and health. The brand’s focus on producing their shoes as sustainably as possible also really impressed the panel.

This brand is fantastic for keeping developing toes and feet as free as nature intended but with the cutest and most comfortable protective layer possible.

The patterns and colours are wonderful!

WHO: Mia & Mika

WHAT: A family run, hand-made and vegetable tanned moccasin shoe brand for babies and toddlers.

WHY: These are some of the most adorable moccasins we have ever seen – the kind of shoes we imagine Peter Pan and Tinkerbell wearing! Softest leather, a generous round toe with plenty of room for toe wriggling, super cute designs such as polka dots and braided trims and an array of stunning colours made these shoes really stand out to our judges who thought the unique tassel detail was also a fab signature addition.

Just gorgeous! The kind of shoes you will your baby to grow into!
